New to DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, players will be able to play as Danteâ€™s twin brother himself in Vergilâ€™s Bloody Palace Mode. For an extra depth of challenge, new modes have been added including Gods Must Die Mode, Must Style Mode and Hardcore Mode. In addition to the gameâ€™s new features, players will also receive new Dante and Vergil costumes inspired by classic Devil May Cry character designs.

DmC sees the origin story of self-assured series protagonist Dante retold against a contemporary backdrop. The Dante of DmC is a young man who has no respect for authority or indeed society in general. Dante knows that he is not human, but also that he is not like the demons that have tormented him throughout his life. Caught between worlds, he feels like an outcast.

was expecting this to be pants, but was pretty good in the end. Dante's nowhere near as much of a jerk as the trailers made him look. Great fighting gameplay, but platforming was cack. Hearing rumours Capcom are rebooting the game again and ignoring this one in the canon, sadly.

This game is one of those pleasant suprises. You think its going to be average but turns out to be excellent. The art on this is really nice. well worth this price and, if like me, you are lazy , you can get the digital version in the Japanese sale on PSN for £9.99 - no disc changing for me.

Does the fact that Devil May Cry has already been on PS+ for PS3 mean it's unlikely to appear for PS4? Am I right in saying they've never done the same game for different formats in different months?
