Many people I know can eat whole box of pringles in 1 minute so I don't think it is eaten in moderation. If nothing else, it can cause obesity which can cause many other diseases. Also some flavours of pringles have upto three artificial flavours and hydrogenated fat so it is not just msg. Also the way Pringles are marketed to young children makes it even worse. Probably msg may be safe in moderation for adults but when it is hidden in so many processed food coming from outside UK under various names like yeast extract etc, there is no moderation, and it becomes a legal high. Once you have some one sick in your family due to these modern day diseases which take long time to show symptoms but are incurable , you will not advocate any food chemicals whether msg or other artificial colours, flavours and preservatives . Prevention is always better than cure.

The irony is you are the one who is ignorant of basic chemistry and biology.
"Modern" diseases existed thousands of years ago. In fact, hundreds of years ago everyone ate natural, organic and unprocessed food and they lived to the average ripe old age of died in childbirth.
Where is MSG banned? I don't recall it being banned anywhere and if it isn't, you really need to question your sources of info. Regardless what's your point? Homosexuality is banned in many countries so therefore it's bad too?
I don't see how you can believe that practically the entire world is in one giant conspiracy for a flavour enhancer The WHO, NHS, FSA, DOH, FDA EFSA etc are all bought out and lobbied to "pretend" MSG is safe? And yet the trillion pound petroleum industry can't buy everyone out to lie to us about climate change.
Do you eat tomatoes? They contain glutamate. What about pears? All pears contain the carcinogen formaldehyde.
Pringles aren't healthy of course, but neither are "real/natural" crisps, they're a snack to be enjoyed in moderation. Neither of these junk foods are toxic.
Well unless you eat a few kilos at once, but you'll probably die of a salt overdose rather than glutamate toxicity.

I love shopping for good bargains but this is just playing with your own health and that of your family. Maybe next time get some dehydrated potato flour and see how much you can eat it alone with out adding these chemicals. If you binge on pringles, it is because of these chemicals which fool the brain without having any nutritional value

I comment because millions like you are ignorant of the health risk and better choices available in crisps. Millions are already mentally sick, have cancer, diabetes(modern diseases caused by chemicals) etc in this country due to the greed of food manufacturers and political lobby supporting the sale of these chemicals in most food products made in EU. Luckily supermarkets and some food manufacturers like Birds Eye, M&S do not put these chemicals in their own brand products especially for children . Msg is banned from children, s food in many countries. Just read the ingredient list on Pringles. Some flavours have more than three types of artificial flavour enhancers to make the rubbish palatable.

I see you are spouting the same chemophobic, fallacious, virtue-signalling nonsense. For one, just because something on Google says otherwise, doesn't mean MSG is a dangerous brain toxin. The FSA, NHS, WHO, EFSA, etc etc would have picked up on something as simple as this. Glutamate is an amino acid found in practically every food and cell.
Better stop eating tomatoes and cheese, they're also full of deadly brain-damaging glutamate.
If you're not really interested in the product, why comment on it?

I bet samoflondon is real fun at parties.
Not that he's ever been invited to one, ever. Too busy lurking round libraries in a cagoule.

Pound shops I go to now have only 140g in the tube.
The B&M at Lakeside Thurrock, yesterday had the Original and Salt & Vinegar. I don't remember if they had other flavours.

I saw these at Iceland for one pound as well. Also read the ingredients, all chemicals to prolong shelf life & make the rubbish palatable . Wish they came with warning, like cigarettes, not suitable for children due to brain damaging toxins inside.

Or for a penny more in your local Tescos, in addition to all the other flavours (apart from pizza, which seems to be an Asda exclusive annoyingly)

Lots of crisps taste nice. Why eat one with chemical poison inside? Flavouring by adding heaps of artificial flavours, colours, preservatives and other chemicals is not suitable as food especially for children.

Always one pound in pound shops so no deal . Full of artificial flavour enhancers like MSG , hydrogenated fats so bad for health. Made in Brussels with potato flour and chemicals. Better buy British crisps made with natural ingredients like spices and potatoes rather than this rubbish made outside UK.
