PES16 gameplay beat FIFA16 for me (have typically preferred FIFA since 2007)
Interesting how they both progress this time around.
Very hot price though. Football games can hold at £35-40 for a while after release.
I'm not jumping on until people confirm the online has no lag, may as well just play the demo if all that's good is vs the computer

why not just say rather than have them look thru online? you've clearly done the hard work, anyway short answer, they take the money few days before release date and deliver it so should be with you on release day.

Only because there is also the whole thing about if you buy it 28 days before the official release then payment will be taken within 28 days of when the order was placed. Thought it was actually easier to link to the page.
Fifa 16 was so dull I sold it rather quickly while it was worth something. PES is far more enjoyable to play, and more satisfying when you score.
Having said that - MyClub was free for 2016, will it be the same this year? Pretty much removed the need for me to buy it

PES 2017 £32 on release day, 50p a week later in bargain bins everywhere and free with every console sold thereafter.

Useless comment with NO credibility. PES 2016 is a fantastic game of footie. I will admit that the game is a bit 'square' without proper club kits & names -but a quick google search last year found this GEM of a site. http://www.pesworld.co.uk/p/pes-2014-files.html Basically, you can download all premier league kits & more for free to a usb drive (£5 in argos), then plug the drive into ps4 & upload kit data in PES settings screen. You can change team names also on settings screen.

Can only do that on PS4 man. This year you can download a full option file so everything will be updated and licensed from day of release

Ok- if true then sounds like PES has cheekily got on terms with FIFA & 'overridden' their licensing rights etc..with an after-purchase download.

No I mean by using PES Worlds created kits etc it will look like the real deal anyway

"Looking like the real deal" isn't the real deal tho is it ? You wouldn't buy a white polo shirt & claim it's an England shirt just because it's white. Youngsters WANT the real deal in PES like Fifa has. Like the logo, emblem, sponsors name & proper designed kit. If PES had the same licensing rights it would catch up with Fifa's sales.

suggest you look at Glen's work on PESWorld as it literally is the real deal. the kits are identical and have all badges, bells and whistles.

. That's EXACTLY what i was referring to ! The link is in one of my posts above. The kits are fantastic. But not many players know of the website & the PES game/book has no reference to direct users there. UNTIL i updated the kits & team names PES felt like playing with sunday league teams.

99.9% of PES fans know about PES Worlds kits and in 2017 I know for a fact that it will be much easier to add all the kits, emblems, competition names, managers and stadium photos from day 1.
I prefer having the option to change the kits as and when rather than being stuck with kits that are embedded in-game.
