Im a painter and decorator and was very sceptical about using these brushes
Been in the trade for over 20 years and used alot of various brushes over those years, but these brushes hold up really well, especially with water based paints
Can also be used for oil but id stick to using these in say dark colours blacks greys where maybe you,ll not use again, sort of cheap throw away at this price 5 brushes for £3.49 is a great buy, heat added

I have had many sets of these in the past and they are very good. Hardly any bristle loss usually (though I did have one brush that loads fell out of, put it down to being defective). Suitable for water based or oil with good results.
I find that a 2" brush is usually the best size for most jobs, with a half inch one for getting into some awkward spots. Also the wood handle and steel ferrule can be used with vapour boxes.

i am also a average user and found them v good with water bases but was not very impressive with oil paint.agree with Norman-B

'For use with water based paints'. No good with oil paints? Question from very average DIYer.

Really good brushes, little or no bristle loss. Was waiting on them to come down in price again as I foolishly ruined my other set by not cleaning them properly.

Cracking deal. Bought these with a multpack of rollers a few months ago. Brushes don't loose bristles and feel excellent to use. Have some heat.

These are excellent brushes, always get a few set when they come in at this price. They even get a good finish in gloss. Thanks OP.
