Not much of deal but it's a fantastic game. Initially I thought it was a bit thin as they're aren't many maps/game modes but with the big variety of heroes and play styles, getting good with each of them is a nice challenge (kind of similar to a fighting game). On the whole though it's a really really fun and entertaining team shooter, if you like that sort of thing then it won't disappoint.

Gonna wait for a much bigger drop. Couldn't get in beta and been burned with too many other titles this generation. So unless I get a demo to try it out first which ain't gonna happen with this type of game I won't buy till its much cheaper rrp of all other pc games for me isn't a hot deal either so this is cold for me.

Bought it @ 28.99 price too, followed on other post here and did the US/EU currency conversion to get the price.

I stupidly decided to buy it and I honestly can't believe how bad it is. It's practically stretched 16:9 so even with it set to Ultra It looks like complete **** compared to 16:9. And also half the screen is cut from the top and bottom. Jeff Kaplan is a stubborn ****.

The gimped 21:9 support has really put me off buying it for ages but I'd love to try it out as I missed the beta.

I'm almost swayed towards this. I've done a lot of research into this game and have learnt that it is an objective/team based shooter, which I like (PS2, Earlier BF games, COD 2) as opposed to the 100mph, competitive lone wolf, twitch shooter that the multiplayer FPS market has become. Which, too be honest, I initially thought this game is. But after my research my hands are up and I was judgementally wr..wrrr..wr..wrrr..wr :smile: Looking for a cheap Xbox 1 version.

I agree, I still find it still expensive for an online only game.

Not bad for the Origins Edition, though Standard has been £29.99 since day one via Battlenet.

(Shockingly I pre-ordered but haven't played it yet!)

Great game (provided you have friends to play it with and voice comms); I paid £29.99 for the standard version from battle.net and love it! Origins version gets you some skins for Overwatch and some goodies for other battle.net games (WoW etc).

I found in the beta I'd play a couple of games and then drop out..enjoyable but forgettable game imo

Already got the Xbone collectors edition, they should have made it cross platform rather then have to shell out twice. Heat added anyway as it's a good price

Looks interesting. But I never really liked Team Fortress nor really gave it any game time to be fair.

Do you think it's worth buying if given my lack of love for TF?

I just can't bring myself to pay these sorts of prices for a PC game. I want it but it needs to be less than a tenner.
