Designed to make your life easier, Pebble provides personalized notifications and downloadable apps to keep you in the loop when you're on the go. You can also customize with watchfaces and apps to suit your personal style and interests. It features a long-lasting battery, user-friendly operation, and a screen that's readable even in bright daylight or underwater. Pebble comes with a USB charging cable and Quick Start Guide.
nothing wrong with that - some people might not want to pay out loads of money for one

Does what most people want on a smart watch. Waterproof, read texts and see who's calling. Word of advice. Don't update this to the new time firmware it screws it up.

I didn't have that problem with mine, great way to try a smart watch, I upgraded to the pebble time steel, wouldn't be without it now

The time firmware works fine on the old pebbles.. i much prefer it to the old os.. (especially since you no longer need to have both apps installed on your phone)

I did exactly the same but upgraded to a pebble time. the ability to control the music on my phone without having to constantly fish it out of my pocket is a godsend.

I got bored of mine quite quickly, not sure where it is these days.

Thinking of buying one now after reading reviews...not too fussed about it being all flashy...just need it to give me my regular WhatsApp (especially hukd) and call alerts and to tell the time...Also to be able to control my music during my gym sessions sounds appealing...

A Pebble with a bluetooth headset and phone in pocket or next to you in the gym is really good. Back to wires at the moment and it's just not the same.

Had the pebble OG and then the Pebble steel... But in the end my Pebble steel crashed. They work really well for what they do, great battery life (only charge partway through a week), waterproof, controlling music via watch, sleep monitor (using Misfit app) and of course, notifications.
I've ordered the Pebble Time 2 though, hoping that it'll be awesome come November (and hoping I don't get buyer's regret as a friend just got a Huawei Watch and it looks so good with Android wear...)

Yeah, I bought a pair of dacom Bluetooth headset from amazon a few weeks ago, I have to at times take the phone out and skip to certain tracks...this will be more better for me...

I bought one a few months ago for £50 and I love it. Superb for seeing alerts (I get a hell of a lot of work emails during the day) without getting phone out of my pocket

I think it's a pretty good watch, I use the sat nav on it all the time. It's been this price for ages though. I bought mine last October for this price.

Never understood the point of smart watches so i bought this pebble back December to try out and they are fantastic! The biggest thing for me is when you have your phone is in your pocket and you don't hear it vibrate/ring when a call or message comes through. With this your wrist buzzes so you never miss a thing.
Now I don't know how i can do without one!

How does this stack up to replacing a fitbit on your wrist? Reviews say this does a brilliant job using the misfit app...

Misfit app is great on it, sleep tracking and pedometer; then syncs to the misfit app on your phone.

Love the fact you can programming it incredibly easiky. Can't wait for puckjs to come out. Only thing I miss is a mic, so tempted to upgrade to the 2 at some point.

Brilliant SmartWatch with 5-7 day battery life. I loved mine and have just pre-ordered the version 2 on Kick Starter for delivery in September (which explains why the 1st generation is now being reduced).
Sure its not colour or touch screen but it does all the important stuff - tell you who is calling, shows text messages, facebook updates/alerts, emails etc etc. Basic control over phone calls (end/answer) that are on your phone and basic control over the music playing on your phone.
With health apps it does all the usual step counting etc although for me as my iphone is always in my pocket the built in health app takes care of that nicely.

My pebble classic has never been off my wrist except for the 2 hours each sunday it gets charged.
Bought it couple of years ago, I think after backing it on kickstarter.
Controls my audio needs, even in the bath.
wore out 2 straps, the watch itself still looks brand new
I have terrible eyesight so can only read it with my glasses on. Considering upgrading to the new one with a bigger face

Apps not syncing, high battery drain and freezing. Used to use about 9% battery a day now get 3 days sometimes 4 days. Wished I hadn't updated.
