Have one for 6 month
What can I say
If you have android TV like sony , not much difference yes shield TV is more powerful but this power will cost you 99 pounds
Gaming ? Yes you can game but not same as xbox or PS4 I mean android games not all run they must have controller settings to play if it is touch optimized no gaming
Plus some android games have very nice graphic, but some of them when you looking on 55 inch they look to pixelisated
Nvidia Games they not cheap 10 Pounds can cost per game The graphic as mention if optimized for nvidia all ok if not so basic graphic
Basic games you can run on Sony TV as well so not much difference or cheap android box
------------
Now Kodi
Yes it works fast and without any problems My old Samsung "smart TV" have media player DNLA and similar experience to kodi yes kodi all about plugins etc... but Im talking about movies from server Do not see much difference
Does it worth to buy Yes / No
If you have old TV and do not plan to change to better one So yes I will be good buy
If you have new TV like sony , or other with Smart TV functions they not bad these days it is will be hard to game on them but for movies and web they OK
IF I do not have xbox or PS4 I think it is better to spend £200 on xbox and you will have better experience gaming movies etc ,,, ,
I know someone will say Kodi the main reason to buy but then cheap android boxes do same thing Do not see why you need so much power to run kodi
Just to add for me big reason why I did not buy cheap ebay box Because I do not know from where they come what software installed and upgrades in future
With Shield TV they releasing updates very quick and system and the last operating android not ebay boxes with 4.4
Why security matters as android boxes requiring you to create account to use them.
Im you using same account on my phone on tablet and on Shield TV so all my data moves between them same password etc .... so in theory cheap android boxes can steal my data like contact or other things
Yes you can create new account for you android box but it is more easy to have same account on all devices because music subscription can work on all of them , bought game it will works an all devices This is the point to have one account
will I give my user details to cheap android boxes from ebay NO NO NO

Thanks for posting. I’ve added the price and merchant to the title and an image and as this is available for Prime members only I have included this also.
Here’s a ‘Help’ link which gives tips and advice on thread posting.

is there any point in getting the 500GB model for £70 more? (£169.99 also on offer for Prime Day)
Can you install all games etc onto an external MicroSD or USB hard drive (or networked drive)

no point as you can add extra memory if you need it via plug in usb are micro card slot. this machine runs Kodi really nice too.
I'm going to watch this YouTube video as I feel it will probably answer my question

Have the 16gb version, it's awesome. So quick, future proof spec too.
With the latest android, adding an SD card or external storage and using it as proper storage is now possible so the pro ver probably isn't worth the extra.
I've heard the fire stick remotes work with it too. Cheaper than the nvidia ones

Yeh I kind of skipped bits but basically other boxes out there that can do the same for less besides the gaming part of it that come with better air mouse/keyboard controllers for things like web browsing, which is easier than using the nvidia controller and remote.
However I guess the £100 offer and then £10 off audible brings inline with those.

Got one on black friday with remote + 1 controller £116 ish if i recall ....and wow worth every penny!!
£99.99 ....no brainer .
Kodi lovers will love it as its so dam fast and much better than these cheap 20-40 quid boxes, makes the kodi experience so much better.
The Gaming side is also top notch and was really impressed .....also the added bonus of being an android box makes this a better than the fire tv box ( would be my 2nd choice though ).
Also great support and updates are super fast ....can't say a bad word about it really.

Also, being a Plex server can it stream NAS drives or do you have to connect via USB?
Thanks

Best Android box for your TV bar none. There is still a bit of a lack of dedicated Android TV apps sadly, but most things you want that aren't available are covered by Kodi plugins or Chrome.
The box is particularly good for gaming with excellent emulator compatibility and the ability to run games at roughly PS3 / 360 graphical quality. Add in the PC streaming facility and the top quality pad and it really is a treat for a gamer looking to have a box for the TV.

Might learn more watching a few Youtube vids..
Kodi is a Tv front end, media player and library organiser. It is very extendable with add-ons that provide access to all kinds of steams. But primary purpose is playing media from local or network sources.
Plex is a player, library organiser and stream server. So if you media library is attached to the shield you can use plex to stream it to other devices. It can transcode ( convert the media to a form the device playing will like ) for multiple devices at the same time (thanks to the Tegra X1 CPU). For example some smart TV's/console are fussy on file formats/resolutions etc and cant just play direct from a NAS.

The growth of add-ons has really soured peoples' view of Kodi. It was always, and remains, a enormously capable media player with a fantastic library interface. The streaming add-ons are a bonus, not the raison d'etre.

Kodi is a media front end (e.g. player, controller call it what you will) which allows you to watch movies, view pics or listen to music stored on your devices local hard drive, network drives or from t'internet.
I use it to stream from various sites using various plugins (exodus is my fave).
I don't particulalrly like the Kodi Gui, but it serves a purpose.
Plex on the other hand allows me to do essentially the same as I have plex Server running on my PC (w/ 3Tb HDD) so I can view my own movies, pics an dlisten to my own music pretty much anywhere - by running Plex 'client' on my Android phone, but also works on iOS, NowTV box, Firestick, and my Sammy smart TV.
The latest version of Android Plex allows my Android phone (and tablet) to act as a server to other clients (my TV) so pics and movies that i've taken on my phone can be viewed on any other device I have on my local network
i.e. with Plex you need a server to 'serve' the media from and the question about the Shield being able to act as a server? well yes - as its android - it can.
PS. I have my Android phone at work and I can view all my own content from my Plex server at home. great to catch up with stuff/listening to music on the Train or during lunch

I'll grant you, there's some awful builds out there and it is a minefield. There's competition and trolling going on too - tvaddons.ag for example are getting a really bad rap at the moment.
That said, using Kodi with a few carefully selected plugins, you can watch pretty much anything and negate the need for even having certain other media or services. Apparently.

12 Jul 161#79
Have one of these. Some things:
1) I hate the pad.
Lots.
Have the remote and that all works beautifully.
2) Plex Media Server does work well on this. But I ended up not using it for this, because I found external drives noisy and annoying. You can mount Network Storage to get round this, but if you've got that you've probably already got a better server solution available.
3) Use SMPC and not Kodi. You'll get your films show up in the main recommendation scroll bar thing, as well as all sorts of improved integration.
4) Retroboxtv is great. A lovely front end for all your game emulator needs.
5) Nvidia firmware updates range from awesome to annoying bugfests. Much improved of late though.

Bit of a random question about this. I've currently got my Plex Media Server set up on an old PC that also has Vuze on it to download torrents. When new torrents are downloaded they automatically show up in my Plex library because I've set one of the folders up as a Plex folder, if that makes sense.
Obviously I can't download torrents to the Nvidia Shield, but is there a way to use the Shield as my Plex server and still get the torrents downloaded to my PC automatically added to a folder on my Plex, rather than having to constantly drag and drop? Does any of that make sense?

darthvader666uk
12 Jul 16#87
You would more than likely have to setup a folder to be access via the network. quick google can show you that  Myself, I have a NAS for this. All of my TV goes straight to my NAS and then all my devices can pick it up from here so once I get the Shield, I can then start looking at my NAS, job done
Yeah saw about a NAS being a possibility, but then I'd have to buy a NAS so I'm trying to avoid the added expense. Can barely justify the Shield as it is!
Thanks for the reply though, appreciate your help.

Yeah, I've got the Plex media server on the PC at the minute, but it's unreliable as it's a really old PC and is constantly crashing. Thinking of switching to this as it's got such good reviews but worried it might be a faff to get my newly downloaded files on to it. I've ordered it anyway so I'll give it a look and see what happens! The reviews are amazing for it as a device for the things I use most, so I reckon I'm on to a winner for the reduced price if nothing else!
Cheers.

If down the road you can afford it, maybe add some cheap SD card or something to bulk up the storage. IF it helps, I got one of these. Very easy to setup and just works, no questions:
Can the Fire remote be bought separately? I don't like the keyboard on the back of the one suggested earlier in the thread.

So, from what you're saying with Kodi, I no longer have to go to those 'watch tv online .cc/kr/com/etc' websites but I can directly watch it form kodi?
does anyone know if you can stream xbox one games onto this a bit like you can pc games from your desktop etc? it looks like you can to the shield tablet but I can't find any answers for this one - also i guess this is less likely but any chance you could stream ps4 games to this so i could play them in another room?
But out of the box, this'll just stream games from a Windows machine as long as it has a beefy enough nVidia graphics card.

You can insert a MicroSD card, I just purchased the 16gb as I'll be using mine to mainly stream games locally.
Hi guys, quick question, can you play in Browser video using this? (after side loading Chrome etc.)
Any help much appreciated
Cheers

I'm not sure why I've bought this! I've got 3 firesticks and 3 chromecasts and don't really know how much better this will be as they play kodi etc just fine...... But I felt the need to purchase as it's so cheap (with student discount)...... This site will be the end of me! May have to sell some chromecasts to offset the cost!

Presumably the student discount took the rest. Think it was 5%

Would I be able to stream films and TV episodes stored on my windows 10 PC to this through my wired network.
Also could I play games on this even though have a r9 290 and graphics card.

This is a great price. Would get another one if I had use for it.
I stream games from my PC with Nvidia GameStream, and use it for watching movies with Kodi

12 Jul 16#133
personally I think this is the ultimate Streaming machine at present.
I've been using Kodi for many years and well before the Android box craze. I've had many android devices and this blows them all away for sheer power and speed. It works as well as any Windows power house PC I've used kodi on too.
Overall I like the simplicity of the interface and ease of use having everything media wise like catchup services as well as my Kodi there to be accessed via a remote control which is why I favour it over my HTPC.
The Plex app is the best on any device and far superior to the standard android app. I've been moving towards Plex more and more of late and have a large library so like being able to voice search on it.
And then you have all the gaming side if things. which it is still one of if not the best.
So to summarise if you get one at this price and you know what your doing to get the best out of it you will not look back. enjoy!

Absolutely the best streaming device out there, I first used it for Kodi but recently moved over to PLEX and its the dogs bollacks! Its so poweful and easy to use, and on a 4k tv it looks wicked. I have it connected to my NAS and that is the way to go and now can remote view anyway.
I personally don't like the pad so looking to get a remote.

Just ordered the Fire stick..
"Sweet...
£10 Audible Voucher
£5 Amazon Voucher (ordered a £30 Gift card to be delivered...who doesn't need Amazon Credit)
£3 Pantry credit (No Rush Delivery)
So in my head I have paid £1.99 for the stick
Bargain!!"
Then saw this and was really pulling at the money in my pockets. Thinking if I should cancel the firestick. Have the normal box upstairs and have this in main room.
But then I saw no optical out. (Big point for me as I got an old Sony surround)
Also the game streaming sounds great but I have got a 7950 ATI card so not go force.
As good as this sounds for KODI. Think there is just too many other things it will try and make me buy (like upgrading to a go force graphics card for steam library and also upgrading surround sound for hdmi sound)
That I'm deciding prob best to walk past
Was hovering over the butility button in the basket aswell.
First time I've managed to walk away from a impulse buy on here ha ha.
Getting a bit of buyers remorse over the stick after seeing this beast! But hopefully performs OK and doesn't lag too much.
Thanks for listening to my story and waffle....peace!

You can install games/apps on microSD card. It supports USB hard disk to be used as an Internal Storage too (extend internal storage). So technically you can have an SD + USB hard drive + 16GB internal, though I have not tried it.
Only advantage with 500GB model is that the it's internal. So there is no external device added (and from what I read, can't add internal hard drive later - there is no port). It has 2x USB 3.0 ports for high speed. Also the microUSB port supports OTG, so you can add another device too. It also supports mouse/keyboard and 3rd party remotes like Logitech MyHarmony.
It's a great device and very fast.

I don't use optical out but hear you can just buy a USB to Optical adapter. I'm pretty sure you can stream ATI cards with an app downloadable from the Play store so no Geforce card needed.
Or you could buy a Steam link to stream games I guess. Don't quote me though :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi,
I purchased the Amazon Fire TV box 4k this morning for £55. I know that's a good price but I'm trying to work out if this would be a better deal.
Is this better than the Amazon Fire TV box?
Does it do anything different?

The Fire stick is no good for streaming games with Moonlight at 1080p with 60fps. You will get 30fps at best and the input lag makes some games less playable.

Ordered this one, but still wondering if I should have gone with the 500gb model, I know I can use sd cards etc as internal and I have a 200gb card sitting around doing nothing so was using that but at least with the 500gb its all internal no external drives etc, anyone with one already can you confirm if you could say use a 2tb external drive and format it as internal?

Great device! Had my pro 500GB for 6 months now and love it.
I use it mainly for streaming PC games to living room TV and as Plex client which supports 4k and full 7.1 sound.
I love the fact it works with Logitech Harmony remotes too.
The only things that annoy me are:
* Lack of TV catch-up apps - by now google play store (for android TV devices) should have them all, you can side-load but they often don't control or display properly.
* Lack of Amazon Prime Video app. I guess Amazon see it as competing device and don't offer it on Android TV devices
* No chrome/browser for quick searches on sofa.
If they can fix the above issues it would be perfect but still worth every penny.

Are any of you Plexheads out there able to comment on the performance for transcoding? I've got one of these - and also a synology nas. The nas isn't powerful enough to transcode on the fly so I mainly have Kodi installed on all clients in the house (3 AFTV boxes) couple of Sony android TVs) but am intrigued about going back to Plex if this has the grunt to transcode to my iPhone / iPad.
Cheers!

I have two and am debating another one !!
Don't think anybody has mentioned GEFORCE NOW that is available - think NETFLIX but with games instead of tv/films. I get about 40 games for £7.99 a month - all PS3 quality or above - great for my 6 year old as there's tons of Lego/Superhero/ Harry Potter games in there for him to play ;-)
I use it for Hulu , Netflix 4k etc...........awesome piece of kit.
Easiest way to get Showbox on it is install Aptoide (you can do this through a free app called es file explorer - just goto the browser within it and do it from there) - Showbox is easily installed from there.
I use the RETROMANIA build for SPMC and have access to emulators for almost every system out there (apart from current gen) - along with a lovely easy to use front end.

Got one for £82.49
I've only gone and done £317 on Prime today on loads of bits and pieces.

Gonna use the Shield in our summer pad overseas and let the kids play games on it. Just need to research how to actually play a game on it with flaky local wifi....

am curious to know this too, it has a 256 core GPU, if the computation power of that is harnessed for transcoding i'm interested in the device despite having tonnes of Kodi devices in the house
ontheqt
12 Jul 16#155
Can stream from a nas or router storage dependant on router as samba required. You mount the nas in settings as network storage on the shield. The shield does all the transcoding got nas becomes a network hard disk. I had a nas worth 250 that couldn't transcode add well as the shield. It's perfect.

Where did you learn English ???
Here's the English version for my HUKDers :
I have been using one for 6 months.
If you have an Android TV from the likes of Sony, you will not see much of a difference. I agree that Shield TV is more powerful but this power will set you back £99.
What about gaming?
Yes, you can game but it is nowhere near the same level as XBOX or PS4. Android games will run only with the required controller settings and not if they are touch-optimized. Some Android games have nice graphics while others will look pixelated on a 55” TV. Nvidia games are also not cheap as they can cost £10 for one. The graphics will look amazing if the game is optimized for Nvidia, else you will have a game with basic graphics, which you might as well run on a Sony TV or a cheap Android box.
What about Kodi?
Yes, it runs fast and without problems. My old Samsung "Smart TV" had a DNLA media player with a similar experience to KODI. I agree that KODI has a lot of plugins but for movie streaming, I did not really notice a difference.
Is it worth buying?
If you have old TV and do not plan to upgrade to a better one, this will be a good buy.
If you have a new Android TV or a Smart TV, it will be difficult to game on them but movie streaming and web browsing should be perfectly fine.
If you don’t have a PS4 or XBOX, you are better off spending the likes of £200 on one of these consoles.
If any of you say that KODI is the main reason to buy the NVIDIA Shield, you might as well buy a cheap Android box and KODI should not require so much horsepower. Personally, I would not buy cheap Android boxes from eBay, as I cannot trust these unknown manufacturers and there is no way of knowing what software is installed and if there is a possibility of any upgrade in the future. With Shield TV, they are releasing updates on a regular basis.
I am not sure why so much security is required on Android boxes , where you are required to create new accounts. I am using the same Android account on my Android phone, tablet and Shield and this makes synching a breeze and also helps with music subscriptions. I also feel that cheap Android boxes can steal data and other personal information and I would avoid them.

This thing is great, plus the kodi developers like SPMC make their software specificity for this box, runs very smooth.
The OS can be limited but get an app called side load, this will allow older android apps to run.
What's the best air mouse / keyboard for it? I use the harmony touch but navigating a google browser is a pain!
Also how do you add the kodi/SPMC thumbnails to the main shield screen?
1nsomniac
12 Jul 161#163
If it had the controller with it I'd buy it without hesitation. I have a SteamLink & Android box already but would like to swap them both out for one of these.
Then when it's installed it can be accessed via the sideload launcher on the box.

Received my shield tv today ...
I have set up the game stream to stream games from my PC onto my tv and the quality is not very good , it's no where near as good as the picture on my PC monitor... Is this a standard thing ? I tried wifi then switched to Ethernet and it doesn't judder like it did on wifi but the quality is still poor.
I expected the picture to be the same as my PC , I'm using a good spec PC for the games with a full HD Samsung tv, I planned on using it on my new Samsung 4K tv but the fact it won't do 1080p properly , it's pointless trying on 4K
Edit - Problem solved , it was the power link adaptors I was using, the game stream doesn't like them, works a charm now !

Would have put my fire tv in bedroom and then used the shield in main room. Instead I have just recieved my firestick so hopefully it will still be OK for the bedroom.
Hopefully the shield can be had for around the 100 Mark in the not so distant future. Love myou gadgets and seem to be collecting loads of these tv boxes.
Sky runs out in October (or the deal, will go up from 32 to 74 a month) So would be nice to cut that cost and get a smooth experiance elsewhere and possibly with Kodi. Just need to find the best addon.

Here’s a ‘Help’ link which gives tips and advice on thread posting.
Can you install all games etc onto an external MicroSD or USB hard drive (or networked drive)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtoyFqwWwPQ
I'm going to watch this YouTube video as I feel it will probably answer my question
With the latest android, adding an SD card or external storage and using it as proper storage is now possible so the pro ver probably isn't worth the extra.
I've heard the fire stick remotes work with it too. Cheaper than the nvidia ones
Was going to just get a Fire stick... curse you Amazon!
Haven't watched this video yet (need to find 50minutes spare lol) but I guess he knows his stuff:
However I guess the £100 offer and then £10 off audible brings inline with those.
Or was the yes as in yes it is worth buying the 500GB model?
:")
Just want to replace a first gen fire stick
Thanks
Was a bit disappointed to find out my Shield tablet doesn't run Plex as a server, considering all the hype said ALL Shield devices were getting it.
Go on the chat & tell them, i've always found Amazon pretty helpful tbh. Worth a go, there's a good chance they might refund you the difference.
WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME SO?
I'm ashamed to say that I was once the guy who the whole neighborhood used to come before they needed some advise on any tech. I've fallen :disappointed:
So, is there any way that you could enlighten me WTH is kodi/plex and why and how do I use it?
I've tried plex, didnt understand a bit, so I removed it.
I have used promotion code and vouchers. If I refuse to collect order, am I suppose to get promotion amount (£10)?
£99.99 ....no brainer .
Kodi lovers will love it as its so dam fast and much better than these cheap 20-40 quid boxes, makes the kodi experience so much better.
The Gaming side is also top notch and was really impressed .....also the added bonus of being an android box makes this a better than the fire tv box ( would be my 2nd choice though ).
Also great support and updates are super fast ....can't say a bad word about it really.
Heat added
Also, being a Plex server can it stream NAS drives or do you have to connect via USB?
Thanks
Plex is available too, not used it though.
Coupled with the Kodi remote app Kore (really nice)
If you mean installing them, then wast and several ways ....can use things like hal launcher and send from mobile phone direct to the shield
or
Install ES file explorer ....add a new url firetvguru and then select the apks from there and install
Just got it for £82.49 with some discount code and................https://shield.nvidia.co.uk/apps/vlc-for-android

But 100% working fine with the controller ;-)
Is it better than the fire tv.....yes IMHO.

The box is particularly good for gaming with excellent emulator compatibility and the ability to run games at roughly PS3 / 360 graphical quality. Add in the PC streaming facility and the top quality pad and it really is a treat for a gamer looking to have a box for the TV.
I LOVE YOU
Although you could be writing in mine, as I would also agree!
That said, using Kodi with a few carefully selected plugins, you can watch pretty much anything and negate the need for even having certain other media or services. Apparently.
Obviously I can't download torrents to the Nvidia Shield, but is there a way to use the Shield as my Plex server and still get the torrents downloaded to my PC automatically added to a folder on my Plex, rather than having to constantly drag and drop? Does any of that make sense?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO4rKbmKXYY
Thanks for the reply though, appreciate your help.
You could also consider adding a Plex server on your PC and using the Shield to play off there too? depending on how you plan to play your files i guess
@adamlsmith82
Set a plex server on the PC like mentioned above or I would asume you can turn any PC in to a Network location for the Shield to read from.
However it doesn't support Amazon Prime TV (4k HDR etc) and doesn't look like it ever will do - as they often mumble about adding it but it never happens..
Cheers.
If down the road you can afford it, maybe add some cheap SD card or something to bulk up the storage. IF it helps, I got one of these. Very easy to setup and just works, no questions:

Assuming I can stream my games from my Nvidia GFX card to this from my gaming rig much like I would with Steam Link?
thanks for your help
So, from what you're saying with Kodi, I no longer have to go to those 'watch tv online .cc/kr/com/etc' websites but I can directly watch it form kodi?
https://shield.nvidia.co.uk/gamestream
I wish I bought an Nvidia over my AMD now :/
Sony have game streaming to Android on some Xperia handsets & tablets. You can hack it on to any other Android device, so it's possible... http://www.howtogeek.com/244011/how-to-stream-games-from-your-playstation-4-to-any-android-device/
But out of the box, this'll just stream games from a Windows machine as long as it has a beefy enough nVidia graphics card.
Happy I signed up for a Prime trial yesterday!
The Shield TV is a great all rounder.
The Plex app with voice search if fantastic too.
with the price drop this reduces the blow, but a sub £50 chinese android box can do the job just as well on 1080p.
Any help much appreciated
Cheers
Chris
Presumably the student discount took the rest. Think it was 5%
Also could I play games on this even though have a r9 290 and graphics card.
I stream games from my PC with Nvidia GameStream, and use it for watching movies with Kodi
So to summarise if you get one at this price and you know what your doing to get the best out of it you will not look back. enjoy!
I personally don't like the pad so looking to get a remote.
Or you could buy a Steam link to stream games I guess. Don't quote me though :stuck_out_tongue:
Anybody know if you can get Amazon Instant Video on the Shield TV? Had a quick G Search but had no luck.
I purchased the Amazon Fire TV box 4k this morning for £55. I know that's a good price but I'm trying to work out if this would be a better deal.
Is this better than the Amazon Fire TV box?
Does it do anything different?
Cheers!
Dave
... and how are these for running retro-gaming emulators?
Thanks.
I've only gone and done £317 on Prime today on loads of bits and pieces.
Picked up both a FTV Box and the Shield.
Gonna use the Shield in our summer pad overseas and let the kids play games on it. Just need to research how to actually play a game on it with flaky local wifi....
how did you manage to get it for that price
Thanks very much
Where did you learn English ???
Couldn't resist so swallowed my pride and took a free Prime trial with the Audible discount.
Hope my router's up to the job for Nvidia GPU streaming, I have a high spec replacement but can't seem to configure it properly :disappointed:
Thanks!
The OS can be limited but get an app called side load, this will allow older android apps to run.
What's the best air mouse / keyboard for it? I use the harmony touch but navigating a google browser is a pain!
Also how do you add the kodi/SPMC thumbnails to the main shield screen?
Then when it's installed it can be accessed via the sideload launcher on the box.
For only £10 more you could buy TWO of the Shield Kits with Controllers, for the price of ONLY ONE of the Shield Kits with 1 Controller and 1 Remote too?.
I mean, wth!, is the Remote Controller REALLY worth the 1 penny shy of £90?.
I know it's getting a little late in the day now and all!, but seriously???. :-(
Hehehehe.
Time to settle down and read this 148-page thread:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/misc/nvidia-shield-tv-owners-club-2337013
Been reading threads about Plex server issues all day but hopefully it will be suitable for my needs.
Made an account plex. Tv.....loaded up shield clicked on plex gave me a 4 pin ...went to plex.tv entered the pin and hey presto....
Connected.my seedbox to it and can play everything now .
Still showing as in-stock on Amazon (500GB) so hopefully just extra demand on the delivery drivers holding things up.
Games look really good and kodi is a huge bonus.
Really pleased for the £82.50 I paid
Bravo Amazon, bravo!
Amazon logistics are usually really good but they obviously can't cope with these sale days.
just downloaded the android tv app on app store
its a remote app....
opened the app and it said shied on iphone display
clicked it and a 4 digit pin appears on the tv
put the pin in phone and violla
had bluetooth connected on phone , dont know if that matters or not
working great even microphone works a treat ...... happy days
got a use for that old iphone laying around now
Would have put my fire tv in bedroom and then used the shield in main room.
Would you like to sell it?
