Got my hopes up there for a sec, as am looking for one for the missus but can't see it for that price.
£279 here at argos and currys but not sure if the lense is the same if this helps anyone

AF-P v AF-S according to the product photos. AF-S is argos and according to here has image stabilisation, therefore the better deal surely. Assuming I've got my P's and S's the right way round?!?
This deal is (was) with the AF-P VR lens which is the newest Nikon kit lens. It has VR but also uses a stepper motor for silent focusing. This and the previous model the VRII have good image quality. The Argos one has the older VR lens which is not quite so good. I didn't rate the VR lens but the VRII produces good results as does the original non VR lens. Hope that helps!
This looks interesting, but it doesn't actually state anywhere on the listing that it's a VR lens.

Very much, thanks for the update. Think I'll wait and see if this comes back in stock, just for amazon's better customer service and lens.

Looks pretty clear from the pictures. Has the button on the side to extend the lens and says VR II on the front of the lens also states stabilised lens in the description.
