Thought this was an alright deal if you're a fan of Pokémon and in the market a new 3DS. It's the standard price, but if you buy from the Nintendo store you also get a case and charger included. With all the renewed buzz around Pokémon, I can see these going out of stock soon too.

By your logic absolutely everything has a face plate then.. all items have replacement casing.

Yep, the voucher code wasn't me. I think HUKD just automatically applies vouchers to threads that have the same retailer name.

Invalid voucher code...ran out last month and could only be used on Splatoon.
Meh, wouldn't class this as heat, its just the price at the Nintendo store, no reductions whatsoever.

They dont increase in price, this model will available for a long time. Identical to the Emblem Fates edition. Its the black model with difference face plates.

I see, would have been great if there were voucher codes valid for this particular product. I could see sales booming then, as it stands though, cold from me lol
nintendo are throwing in a charger they sell for £7.99
and a case that's not available seperately , with similar ones selling at £14.99.
so it's not bad.

Yes, that is my point. The fire emblem is the white version with different face plates. This one is the black version with different face plates. Makes no difference it being limited edition. Cost will go down not up

None of the new XL 3ds models have face plates only the normal new 3ds models have the face plates. So your information is incorrect.

You should do some googling before informing people their information is "incorrect"
I have a "NEW" 3DS XL Emblem Fates edition and the bottom plate is removed to change SD card and the top is changed with a new face plate. You can buy them from Ebay.
*Edit - We are also talking about the manufacturer here. Do you think they designed a new 3DS or just changed the front & rear face plate ?

What you have posted is an actual physical replacement case that you actually unscrew and then have to screw back on. A face plate is not the same as that.

Face plate, cover. What ever you want to call it. Regardless of the small talk. The 3DS is the same just a different piece of plastic surrounding. You can replace it.
