Mortal Kombat X is NetherRealm Studios' next highly anticipated installment in its legendary, critically acclaimed fighting game franchise that propels the iconic franchise into a new generation. Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for release in 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
Mortal Kombat X combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever, offering a fully connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time in the series, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character, impacting both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game's most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together.

Voting cold because it doesn't suit your choice of console is pathetic.
For anyone who does like the XB1... it is solid HEAT and nothing less.

It's cheap because the Xbox one S is only a few days away, yes the ps4 is more powerful but for most on this site it's all about saving money. ea access and games with gold and other regions switching makes the Xbox one miles better than the ps4 even if the muitiplatform games run a little under 1080p.

To anyone wondering if Alien is worth the purchase - 100% YES.
I took advantage of the £7.99 deal a couple of weeks ago and the game is incredible - not at all sure how or why it passed me by when it was released.
Not quite finished it yet but I can see me doing so this weekend.
I only hope they will make a sequel now...!

Are the additional characters and skins worthwhile or is the normal version enough?

Thinking of getting this but try to get all my games as digital downloads now - saves mucking about getting discs out (what is this, the 90s ? )
Any recommendations where?

Mortal Kombat X is currently 20% off at xbox.com. Still quite a bit more than a physical copy though.

I'd say they are worthwhile. The DLC added some really good characters like Jason Voorhees, Predator and Alien to name a few.
