I have one of these, and it's a really nicely-made oven. Well worth the price.

Homebase must have the wrong ones on their site, those seem much more realistic. 60cm height, you could microwave a a hobbit.

I called the store and they said it was discounted stock so the price will be the same whether I pick it up today or tomorrow. Just wondering why it's discontinued now  will... will it blow up?!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a stainless steel interior microwave, decent brand, at a reasonable price? It seems to be a struggle to get one below £100 - though it isn't easy to find them as shops don't often make clear on their listings what finish the interior has.

Picked mine up yesterday- was contemplating this for £40 or the kenwood one for £65. I'm happy if it lasts a year my cookworks one lasted 6 years and still running strong- minor cosmetic however ready for to be taken to the scrap yard. However bargain for that price - heat added.

Just bought one. Went online, it said just two left and I took one of them. Went to the store and there was at least 10 boxes of them behind customer services waiting to go out to those who reserved one, so just got in in the nick of time. Thanks OP

Got it, thanks:) good timing was looking for microwave;)
I replaced my Morphy Richards (bought from Argos, about six-seven years ago, who tend to carry similar stock to Homebase) microwave with a Panasonic combi a few months back.
Two things - Morphy Richards seem to licence their name for use on these microwaves, curiously they don't have microwaves on their website/product range pages. http://www.morphyrichards.co.uk/products/
And mine was rather cheaply made (but of course you don't expect the world for £40). It also had a clock that kept losing a few minutes over a week or two - I was constantly readjusting the digital clock. Gave up and left it at 0:00 in the end! Not a great indication of its quality either.

I had an LG microwave/grill that suffered from the dreaded paint flaking off, but I'm pretty sure it was down to me stupidly cleaning it with a bleach spray a few times. I always try to cover food when I can and simply wipe down with a wet sponge/washing up liquid.

Bumping an old thread here but anyone having any issues with theirs? The inside light doesn't come on when we open the door anymore and the timer continues counting down after we've opened the door.
