Like most seaside towns in the UK, its a dump. I actually go to Cleethorpes atleast once a year, its a day trip to the seaside for the kids but I wouldn't stay overnight. It's like an hour drive for me.

The last laugh goes to the people who live there, though. Affordable house prices, even for young people, nice friendly people - but best of all, hardly anyone from the London area or south Essex. :smile:
