I have both (and a Wii U and a gaming PC)... The XB1 lives under the telly and the PS4 lives in the office.
The PS4 gets a fair bit more attention but that's due to my mates being on PS4, nothing to do with which console is better.
Sony got everything right before the launch but MS have been doing better by their users ever since...
External storage, backwards compatibility, generally better free games, EA Access, TV box interoperability, PC cross-buy and cross-platform multiplayer.

Grade C - Why would anyone want an (ab)used Xbox One for £141?
Not something I would want, would rather pay £200 for a new one but I won't as we have two already.
Thats great, they come in White or White which is not great IMHO.

Wiped all the food off it with a wet wipe probably since there not authorised to open the console up to fix any internal faults and sell them as refurbished

i like my ps4 m, but can't help feel that Sony have made minimal effort with system updates and adding new features.
Would be nice if they increased the party size ( like Xbox has ) and allowed game jnstalls to usb ( can't be bothered having to desk talk everything every time I upgrade my internal drive )

Best thing to ever happen for us gamers was MS making a mess of the XB1 launch and Sony kicking them to the kerb, because without it we would not be sitting here with BC for 360 games, four games a month with GWG that all work on the XB1, and MS working to their backsides off to win customer back with all the added features they have been adding to the XB1.
Great time to be a Xbox owner, and cheap, which is my fave.

It's not that big, yeah, it's not the smallest console and honestly not as big as people like to make it out to be online. Plus the biggest advantage the bigger size is the near silent operation of the console, unlike the PS4 which can get quite loud, specially on hot days like we've had recently.

24 Jul 16#39
The random eject is an issue with the touch button being slightly large and touching under the console, a peice of paper to elevate the console a few mm will solve it.

Real gamers own all three consoles, they save their old ones for retro value and the game on PC too.

An earlier user made a good point, xbox made a mess of the launch but are at least trying to win the players back.
Owned both consoles since launch..... My launch model xbox one is still silent when running,,,,,the ps4...... Randomly ejects disks,,,,,, fans going like the clappers after a few minutes play

Haha this comment screams fanboy. I own both and both consoles have plus and negatives. One negative is that the ps4 is noisy as hell and the xbox is silent. To me that matters more than the size of whats in the tv unit.

Why do you always find ps4 users trolling Xbox deals. I don't really care but each to their own.
The Xbox is not the most pleasing to look at but it does the job and I'm not switching with the huge game library I've built up over 6 years on xbl.
I also tend to look at the tv when playing games and not the console

Actually, I quite like barking at it to turn the telly on/off (HDMI-CEC) and change the channel
The Wii U is a lot of fun, especially the 1st party titles but it falls short on more serious games.

It's a horrendously designed console from the 89s with its brick power pack. Fail BIGTIME!! Ps4 destroys it on ALL fronts. Microsoft makes PCs, Sony makes consoles. Enough said!!

I haven't tried the Wii U. I agree MS missed big style by putting too much emphasis on Kinect but since realising have done a lot to improve the offering. Unfortunately they lost a lot of ground, I reckon if they had released with the current offerings things would have been very different.
The only good thing about Kinect is it makes a good Skype setup for the living room.

Good price if your on a tight budget ... Personally I would hold off a little longer as no doubt there will be more deals when the new model comes out.
I have both ps4 and Xbox one ..... Both great consoles, both have pros n cons.
Ignore the fan boys they are idiots. Buy a console that matches what your friends own

And those capable of rational thought will look at their options. Things like backwards compatibility, the new to be launched play anywhere, better media functions when been used in a living room, streaming games to Win 10 devices and personally I prefer the One controller. Yes the PS4 is slightly more powerful but it doesn't improve game play as the difference is tiny and both the games look dated compared to a mid range gaming PC. If your gaming in your bedroom the PS4 is probably better choice but for gaming in the living room the One offers a lot more Imo.
I do think this price is poor when you can get a brand new one with game for £200

I have never understood how consoles get battered when they're sat in the same place all the time, or supposed to be at least. Wireless controllers mean the console has minimal contact with the user. How can they become so used and abused?

Great deal, particularly with the discount code! These are nearly £180 used on Games website and also CEX. 12 Months Warranty as well - I've bought refurbished items in the past and they are usually fine... this console is only a couple of years old as well so it'll be O.K. You can't really lose with the cover of the 12 months warranty! Loads of cheap used games about as well. Certainly something to keep both the kids and myself occupied over the Summer Holidays! I'm an Xbox fan myself... even if PS4 seems to be doing better at the moment.
