The 'buy one get one half price' event has come around again at Holland and Barrett, & these lovely tubs are included!
Naturally, I bought 4 tubs for £17.96 and found a free delivery code 'FREEFROM1' - to stop me buying anything else :p
I used Quidco for cashback (10%) as I wanted the coins for Quidco rewards, however TCB offer a higher rate of 12.12% cb.
Brings the price of 1kg of PB to ~£4 each!
Love this stuff, happy shopping :)

Am I being thoroughly dense in how I'm trying to order? Just put two in my basket, used the free delivery code, went through to PayPal and H&B is trying to charge me full price for both tubs?

Although peanuts are not actually "nuts," they are the swollen nodule of a legume root

They've been caught trying to get suppliers to pay for their capital investment projects (CCTV etc) and forced small business to continuously reduce the amount they charge to H&B or forfeit their supply agreement. BBC ran a small article on it in the new year: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35347578
I run a small business... Can you imagine if I told my suppliers that they need to pay to fix my roof!

Whole earth contains Palm Oil so not comparable. The Meridian stuff is legit.

Well it is, compared to what most people would presume a Peanut butters texture would be. Again, I don't think it's a bad thing, it spreads easily and tastes great..

This is not thin, it just needs stirring when it arrives. The organic one is yummy too.

Both are nice imo. The meridian needs a good stir, but is thinner than some store bought peanut butters for sure. Not a bad thing though really, I like it. And it is just nuts... No rubbish.

Depends how much stirring you've done to the tub :stuck_out_tongue:
It's bit less spreadable than some PBs but I love the texture & the fact its 100% roasted peanuts..just some healthy fats and no palm oil

They've got hideous supplier practices so I've decided to boycott them. Good deal for others I guess.

Can get a bit separated and solidified, and might require some heavy stirring. I use mine for satay stir-frys and adding to milkshakes, as I just spoon it in.
