I dunno, my granny always used to call them slacks about M&S trousers, maybe a upper class term ? It was jeans and trousers everywhere else lol

Sorry mate, we're in the minority now. Once upon a time 30 waist was the norm, then the fast food boys came over and Billy Bunter is now the norm!
Funny, plenty of 28 waist though, that's those that don't eat anything. LOL!
Also, cold deal for me - it's not even half price (normal price 12.50) - earlier in the year M&S had jeans at 4.99 down from 29.50.
If your size is still showing, hang on. The 70% sale will be along shortly. Why? M&S trading results (like many) are in the ****! So it's a buyer's market. Good!

Thanks but don't want to buy any more kids. Too noisy and knowing M&S they will be exempt from refunds.

Great deal for some cheap polyester work slacks if you are in the market, cotton for me though I sweat enough lol heat tho!
OperateOnMe

totally agree, thought it was a great deal until I noticed 100% polyester which makes it far too expensive for trousers that will shrink in the wash and only last a short time. Vote cold, or put polyester trousers in the header as it is misleading

My dad had a pair of these when he was a bus conductor and they lasted until he retired.
The stitching around the fly is a favourite design for bus conductors. "Tickets Please!"

Laffs at ronin's "last legs" comment
ronin13
7 Jul 162#7
Well, I've gone for 2 pairs. The last pair of M&S trousers I had lasted years. The quality was unreal. These don't look quite as good, but 407 reviews, 4 Stars and £6.50 a pair has got the job. I may even look snazzy in work. My others are on their last legs.

Bear in mind these are regular fit.
I tried regular fit marks and spencers trousers on just this weekend and the width is genuinely huge. They're a pretty old school style and I would, at the very minimum, go for tailored. Their slim fit trousers aren't particularly slim and are generally far more fashionable.

Might want to read the reviews before deciding, put me off...

That is a good point but there are some good reviews so best to order to store and return then and there if the material is not good

Fantastic. Thanks nishdha, I've been after some inexpensive work trousers for a while. Shocked that they actually had my size in stock!
