Best quality of all £10 meal deals. Tesco are worst of course.

I had a right result last night - went in and the second round of reductions was going on:
400g mince - 29p
2 x "dutchy" diced pork - 2 x 45p
2 x lamp chop packs - 67p, 69p
chicken breasts (fed an omega enriched diet! lol) - 75p
and
whole shoulder of lamb (2kg) - 94p
Whoop! #gloat

Yes the main "£6 BBQ chicken" has vanished from the offer as detailed on website (it was there last night).
Definitely instore (all the online/instore are generally the same) with big board advertising the deal outside local store this morning.

Was also told that the chicken isn't in the offer. called them up and they said it was a website mistake and they're sending out a £10 voucher.

Same in the Dorking store .....chicken not in the offer any more. However after a chat to nice customer services lady and showing her the earlier posts of this site on her mobile!!..........£10 goodwill gesture off the bill.

Utter GARBAGE 2 ready meals and a bag of salad and very limited choice on the drink, and I thought the M+S deal was rubbish

A lot of people think the M&S deal is good so the point of reference for your thoughts really helps. Thanks.

This doesn't look as good as the previous Waitrose Dinner for Two deals. Some we've had in the past - they are far less frequent than the now almost permanent, every other bloody week!, M&S Dine In's - were soooo much better than M&S. The last Dinner for Two was not as good in our opinion.
One thing to watch though, if you don't like the wine offered, go to the wine aisle (if you look carefully, you'll find other wines in this offer - just look for the tag 'included in Dinner for Two offer'. We just looked for the most expensive which was around 8 quid. Making this offer much better.
Will have a look in store tomorrow.

Had a look in my local but no other wines tagged. What is £8.00 wine you found?

As usual on this site the name herd instinct is obvious.I have tried them and they are no better quality than other supermarkets and of course worse value.

ta op waitrose is the best quality tastes great! some good bargains at the moment eg flour is 60p and so are other baking things. worth stocking up.
also free coffee/paper when spending a fiver and a waitrose mag too

Not looking to knock the deal but a bit disappointing that they are only offering two courses. Sometimes their dine in for £10 (via Ocado) includes main+side+wine+starter/dessert. Although the quality of mains is variable of course.

Good deal and like waitrose so heat for that, unfortunately not keen on ready meals, and the choice of mains is pretty grim.
Opening post
Ends 2nd August
Also £100 of next 5 shops (see 1st comment for offer/terms)
