Good movie. Thought Caville was the most accurate Superman yet. He did the best of a pee-poor script for Batman v Superman he could. ALL the good lines went to the other one in the Batman costume

No... it's pretty terrible. The first hour is a decent approach to the origin story but the rest of the film is migraine inducing disaster porn.
Batman v Superman compounded the fact Zac Synder is a hack. Fortunately for him his style is perfect for hollywood trailers so he'll continue to stumble his way through the DC library.

I enjoyed BvS too. It doesn't deserve a lot of the hate it gets. I've yet to watch the ultimate edition but hopefully that will flesh it out a bit for those that didn't think it flowed well enough.
This is a great deal anyway. Nice looking Steelbook and has some nice extras. Have some heat!

I really enjoyed this film, but don't bother with th 3D...I'm a huge fan of 3D, but this is the worst attempt I've ever seen. Stick to 2D. Voted hot, great price for steelbook.

Nope, it's FAR from terrible. The storyline isn't very good and plodding in places. Too many questions unanswered like how did Luthor find out about Mrs Kent so easily ?. What was with Mr Kent appearing near "Fortress of Solitude" when dead for years ? The unnecessary violent attitude of Batman against Superman. Doomsday very poor and disappointing.
Poor editing too. Lots of negatives, yes, and a disappointment. Performances were fine, but worst directing ever by whatsisname.
But terrible ? No. Thats taking deserved criticism far too far

Boring movie. Once they spell out their plan on how to destroy the machines that are destroying the earth you can stop watching for an hour until the scene where Superman defeats Zod and the ending scenes. I literally did that (got distracted by phone as the film was so dull once the plan has been explained) and felt like I had missed absolutely nothing worthwhile in the process.

In other words, you didn't bother watching 85% of the movie and then have the cheek to criticise what you didn't see ?

After watching the ultimate cut of BvS, it's still, IMO,
a horrible movie. Superman is a miserable jerk who can't smile and Batman is an angry xenophobe. **** poor superhero movie on every level. Thank God we have Marvel to keep some quality and dignity in the genre.

My feelings on BvS, in more detail:
Batman is "angry" because he's seen years and years of Gotham being overrun by nasty pasties and the place doesn't seem to be any better for him trying to clean it up over the decades. Robin (his best crime fighting pal) has likely been killed by the joker in this universe, his parents died when he was a kid and on top of all that there's a new threat in the form of an alien coming to take over (as far as he knows). Angry doesn't cover it. He's battle worn, border line post traumaticly stressed and looking to lash out. Guess where the energy is directed? He's not thinking logically at this point.
Superman is confused and unsure if he even wants to be a good guy. He's conflicted. Do these earthlings love him or hate him? He can't seem to do right for doing wrong. Remember this is a new origin story of the character. If you want all singing all dancing rescue your dog from a tree Superman then this isn't for you. Go back to Lois and Clark.
So many people just didn't get this movie or felt very uncomfortable with their heroes being deconstructed. I for one am happy they've taken it in a new direction and love the darker theme. Affleck is the most refreshing Batman in ages and Cavill just is Superman.
Bring on the Justice League. Can't wait.

In other words you're getting butt hurt that I found a movie which you think is good very dull with long drawn out fight sequences that add nothing to the story and weren't very engaging for me personally. We're all entitled to our own opinion bro.

"Butt hurt" - any other dopey americanism you want to use ? "My bad" for instance ? Oh - "bro" too ?

£6? Do yourself a favour and swallow it and pass it back out and flush it away. One of the worst films I've ever watched. I didn't even finish it and I love all the superhero stuff and generally watch most things, but this? This was pure drivel. I know it's not an opinions site but a deal one, sadly this isn't even close to a good deal.
