My understanding based on no more than reading a lot of techie comments in forums, is that In general, regardless of make, you will only ever get about 70-75% of the stated mah in real world terms. For this one, it is stated as 10,050 mah, so would expect to get circa 7-8000 out of it. Most smartphones have a 2-3,000 mah battery. The new s7 edge or the HTC 10 for example have 3,000 mah batteries. Assume you actually get 8,000 mah from this charger, and it would charge their 3,000 mah batteries fully from empty, almost 3 times over (3,000 + 3,000 + 2,000).

Hope this helps a bit.

It's not a matter of "real world terms" inefficiency of the charger. It's because of the voltage differences between the batteries in the charger and the one in the phone. You (should) get exactly what you pay for, 10,050mAh.

I don't know why this has expired. Deal still seems available.

There's no more available at 10050mah but I think I'll stick with my trusted brands Anker & RavPower top customer service and never had a problem with any of the powerbanks.

There are still 10050mah available however for some reason it's not letting me order any to the Amazon pick up location I used for my last 2 orders. However I can order to my home address. This deal should not be expired.

It seems in the minute or so after my last post they put the prices of all the colours up (starting with black) and then revoked the discount code. So this deal should remain expired.

anyone else notice that your charger heats up quite a lot while charging this power bank?

Yes it will do because it's charging at up to 1.8A so if your charger is not rated at over 2A it'll be working at it's maximum.

I brought 2 as well and both are working. Seems to be a little picky though, the cable that came in the box works fine for charging my devices, but some of my other cables don't work as well i.e. not delivering the as much current. For charging the power bank, I use my Samsung power supply which is [email protected] and it charges at the rated 9W, but if I use a regular [email protected] the charging is slower.
Other than that the power bank works fine and I've checked the capacity and each pack delivers the 10,000+mAh.

The cables supplied to power up the packs works like a dream, yet, using original phone cables from bank to phone, the things don't work for me! Have tried friends cables/phones too and no luck. Typical, if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all!
