Big props. Producing terrible tasting amazon rainforest destroying soya based "food" and all from beyond the grave.

What do you think cows eat? That's right, soya, and in far greater quantities than humans.
If anyone's “destroying the rainforest", it's people that eat beef.

Not a veggie but I quite like these after trying them at a BBQ (friends are vegetarians). There is much less of a "there's just something missing" feeling unlike the quorn stuff and it's nice in its own way.

Thank god I'm not vegetarian, "rehydrated textured soya protein", I'd rather get my protein from some fat cow!

Have never tried any of these vegetarian products, if I let my (picky) son assume it was a beef burger would he be able to tell the difference?

I have served them in the past and everyone thought they were beef - though I'm not sure if that says more about my families taste buds or the burgers. Personally I didn't think they were that much like beef but they are very, very tasty. By far the best in the Linda McCartney range and the only vege-burgers that I've actually really enjoyed eating.

Their vegan 1/4 pounders tasted indistinguishable from beef, for me.

These are yummy. They've also made their other plain quarter pounders vegan when I last had them, for any vegans on here (they used to contain egg).

I know Morrisons have them on offer for £1.00 until 14th August.
But NOT all Town and Cities have a Morrisons so if you don't and you do have an Iceland then this may be for you.

For those without a Morrisons or Iceland, this might be for you. Waitrose want £1.29
For those without a Morrisons, Iceland or Waitrose, this might be for you. Tesco want £1.95
For those without a Morrisons, Iceland, Waitrose or Tesco, this might be for you. Asda and Sainsbury's want £2.
For those without a Morrisons, Iceland, Waitrose, Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury's, this might be for you. A cave round the corner from yours is selling fungus you can scrape from their walls and you can make all the veggie burgers you want. Unfortunately as there are no shops near you selling cheese or anything else, they won't taste as good as Linda's.
