Are you sure? The email/newsletter I received only mentioned the fan version. The last time I pre-ordered, it was Alpha Sapphire - got the Steelbook, but no promised figurine ever turned up.

EDIT: Contacted live chat, and he said both editions are eligible, but you're not guaranteed to get one ("Limited stock"), and doesn't know whether it's 'first come, first served' or not. So Game's out to swindle people as per usual. Pity the Nintendo store is charging £40 for the standard version. It's like they WANT me to buy the Steelbook...

You can also get the figurine form store.nintendo.co.uk with a pre-order too, however the game is £40 direct from Nintendo, so your saving 8.51 with this deal anyway!

Using the code to get the normal version with figure for £31.49 seems a good deal. That makes the steelbook seem even more expensive.
