If anyone's received theirs, can you say if your box/phone was sealed? I got mine today and the box was unsealed. The phone had the plastic wrapper round it though.

I was going to buy this but note it doesn't have an FM Radio - which rules it out for me :disappointed:
Anyone have any suggestions for similar models but which supports FM radio?

Going to cancel my order. Carphonewarehouse website is misleading customer mentioning this phone is expendable to 128 GB with micor sd card slot available in this phone. The fact is that there is no card slot available which one can verify on GSMArena website. I spoke to Carphonewarehouse customer care almost 1 hour and did nt get proper information and no one ready to take this responsibility and also no help provided to cancel my order. Frustrating..

Finding some of the comparison questions comical. This is a top notch phone in a completely other league to a Moto G4 or any other phone sub £200.
As for the security updates question, this is a Nexus. That means it's one of the phones built to update the DAY google releases an update. These phones get the updates sometimes a year before some other phones.

How bad is the battery on this? I currently own an iPhone SE and the battery is fantastic. Can easily get me through 1.5 days if I don't hammer it. I have a Moto G4 Plus which can get through 2 days if i'm not using it much. I'd sell both and get this Nexus 5X if the battery is acceptable.
Also, how much longer will the 5X be supported with security updates?

Sorry, I've gone off on a weird one......I was talking about the Moto G4 and the code applicable to buying direct from the Motorola site.

Replying to this on my 5x, and having messed about with my wife's G4, definitely 5X. The Motorola wins on battery and fantastic speakers, but that's it. The 5X doesn't do anything fancy, and when you get it you may be disappointed that it doesn't have any fancy gubbins (I miss IR for a remote, and the face-awake), but the Nexus is so slick and responsive, it's really a joy to use. Getting 16gb was a mistake though...

That's a mugs game mate, assuming something is superior based on price without actually having any knowledge of both products. We've all made purchases of products which are half the price of another but work better for us. Pretty much all of the deals on HUKD are better than more expensive alternatives, hence the name of the site.

It means if you're going to compare two things, they should at least be around the same price bracket/spec, otherwise it's like comparing a Rover with an Audi! The Audi is always going to come out on top.
Quite self explanatory, really.

I bought at Argos for £179 and thought that was a good deal. As others have said very good phone for the money. Lovely screen, lightning fast to open apps and has a great fingerprint scanner. Capable of android pay if your bank supports it. Also good to know that you will get regular security updates and software updates (a preview of Android Nougat is already available).
Downsides are average battery life and limited space due to 16GB. However it does come with a rapid charger that party negates the battery life.
Very pleased with mine for what I paid.

simply because G4 has bigger screen 5.5inch and battery 3000mah, 3GB RAM vs. 2GB in 5X, G4 supports memory card and is the latest release vs. Sep15 release for 5X

Thinking the exact same thing. Loved my Nexus 4, but ultimately impressed with the average 2 days battery I get from my Ultra 6. Choices eh!
How crap actually is the battery? Thinking of swapping a Smart Ultra 6 for one of these. Google really dropped the ball on the Nexus 4/5/5x with battery life. Hopefully the HTC ones coming this year will finally sort it out.
I still see it as £169 - do you have the link to your price? Thanks

Why? just wondering. I've bought a 5x and the battery is crap but camera is great.. Considering returning it and getting a g4 instead but with baby on the way a fabulous camera is really important to me..

They actually provide a link to the Pokemon Go APK so you can install it directly without going through Google Play Store. That's how most people install the game before UK's official release  You gotta catch 'em all!
Search Pokemon Go APK on google and it should be the first link.
Cardboard works superbly on this phone. Time to get alien isolation and elite installed!

Ah the Pokemon Go craze, I think I'm fortunate I can't take part as Google Play online says none of my devices are compatible, which includes my Galaxy S6, and if I search the Play Store I can't find the game to install, so I guess the decision has been made for me
