No you are trying to sell Chinese bling here, sold by some Chinese seller from abroad and misleading many people who do not have technical knowledge of the UK mobile bands. Sorry if I stopped your sales. It is very stupid to purchase a grey mobile phone without any warranty which is built and tested to work on Chinese bands only. Even the manufacturer Le Eco will not do it but some commission agents like yourself can go to any extent to rip us off.

What bad information? That it does not have UK bands. Who will be stupid to buy phone without UK bands in UK. Maybe you are in China not UK.

Sam, what on earth are you banging on about. It works perfectly on BT/EE 4G / LTE. Even Willmyphonework.net says it's fine on Band 3 and Band 7.
It's a free country, but do try to restrict yourself on disseminating bad information, it's not what this site is intended for. If you have something useful to add, go ahead. If you're just looking for an argument, trying to prove a point, sound clever etc. then just walk on by.

TDD Lte China mobile bands . TDD Lte but no UK fdd Lte 800 band. Seems you are one of very clever people of this country who don't mind if phone does not work in UK. Go live in China but posting made for China only models in UK. It may be bit cheaper but what good it is if it does not work in UK?

The phone is now completely clean. There are no viruses or potentially unwanted programmes. There was no root kit. But thanks for your condescension.
I have a LETV Le 1 Pro (snapdragon 820 v 2.1, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage, 2K Sharp IPS Screen, Best audio I've ever heard ever, not just on a phone). I paid £125 delviered for it.
I have to say, it's metal chassis and brilliantly built. HOWEVER, my experience of Chinese imported phones is mixed. My Le 1 Pro had some PUPs on it and I had to flash the Cuoco92 ROM to remove them. YMMV, but IME you have to be prepared to do a bit of work.

How clever if you to get root kit viruses for free from China . The pups will come back as they are children of the root kit. When your bank account and photo gets hacked by the some Chinese hacker. who sold you the phone, I guess only then you will know.

All 4 networks have band 20 either running or have a paid licence for that frequency band .
It's more than a nice to have.

Or one left at Amazon but it's £376 (more the price it should be for the spec and build quality)
PLenty of great big phones around at the moment, the Mi Max is probably most competitively priced though.
Huawei Honor X2 and Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra look great. It's a shame I can't really go any bigger than 5.5"

Why is everyone so keen to be on Android 6 anyway? It's not like there's a huge raft of improvements is there? Isn't his just a case of wanting the latest rather than needing something specific?

I got the pro for £96 after cashback so its not major issue but Xiaomi have given up on it from what I can tell. I moved to an unofficial cyanogen ROM just over a month ago and its lot better but no Nexus...
Edit: Prime=Pro can be used interchangeable...

I've got too used to the ginormous 6.4" of my Xperia Z Ultra to switch to a phone as small as this!

As someone with a xiaomi redmi note 2 with the same CPU I would say avoid. You'll be stuck on android 5.1 forever. They haven't made drivers open source so your stuck with manufacturer support which is usually nonexistent with Chinese companies... Get a cheap Chinese phone with snapdragon CPU and you can get lots more ROMs including cyanogen.

Sorry to laugh at your misfortune but I do love your comment there as when I bought my Lenovo K3 Note which has very similar raw specs to your Redmi Note 2 I believe, everyone seemed to be saying I should just pay the extra £30 or whatever it was and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime, yet my Lenovo is now on Android 6.0 officially since about February (probably a bit later, end of March I think it was for the 'stable' release). Though the Redmi Note 2 Marshmallow update was apparently in its final testing phase back in March, so surprised it isn't out yet.
Looks promising, but with top-end specs like that - Snapdragon 823, 6Gb+128Gb, dual rear cameras, etc - it's going to be a least 4-times the cost of this. So, not getting point of your post - can you please explain.

Good price (heat added based on price!), had this phone earlier in the year. Good screen, fast, camera outdoor is excellent. Negatives - would overheat and battery life was pathetic. Personally would add like 25quid more and get the redmi note 3 pro which has excellent battery life and a snapdragon processor.

No SD but at least 32GB. That's enough for quite a lot of people (myself included as I backup my stuff and do a lot of online streaming).
Nice find. Pitty it's the Chinese retailers. Don't want the hassle if issues...

I bought from Gearbest Hong Kong. Paid $189 pre- Brexit which was probably closer to £130,but I had some credit which is why I recalled £125.
Very impressive piece of kit - feels and looks like an iPhone (in fact the OS is such a blatant iOS copy, it's funny).
Been running it for 6-8 weeks now. Not a single crash.
