Yes....if you want it to look like a ps2 game.
To play gta, you need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. ideally an nvidia 950m or above. You'll need to increase your budget to at least £500 to £600 I'm afraid

Not bad however would recommend having a look at the hp 250 g4 available at tesco for the same price. If speed and a more powerful processor is what your looking for.
That laptops specs

@zela333. you are incorrect. There will be a noticeable difference between i3 and i7 in all aspects as well as speed.

I'd agree with you about speed but what other aspects?

Not if we are talking about the U low power Intel processor line. Yea if you are talking about the actual quad core M series but they are a lot more expensive and use more power

yep also wouldn't expect full HD screens either there's a reason they are priced sub 300
you can buy a stick of 4gb ddr3L ram from Amazon for roughly £15 to upgrade memory to 8gb
for anyone who wants to know, this laptop from tesco is capable of playing majority of games on low-med settings released pre-2016 apart from spec hungry games such as crysis

For £300 i'd add a bit more to get one with i7 processor on ebay.. Some refurbished products are just the same as new.. Just make sure it comes with warranty.. Cold from me for this deal

Probably not going to be worth it. Your generally not going to see a big speed difference between laptop i3 and i7 cpus
