Currently have an Acer C720 chromebook but thinking of changing my phone to a dreaded Apple branded one.
Would this machine run ITunes ok if I ditched the Acer?

Install Windows 10 on the C720, much better hardware. Typing this on my Win10 C720.

Wish it had Android or Windows mobile. Too slow hardware to handle windows 10. Will take ages to do anything useful.

Same spec as the lynx 1010 which my daughter has and that handles it just fine. She can even stream the xbone to it.

I bought one of these recently for £110 from Amazon and have been happy with it for the most part (and great value at this price point). It's fast enough for basic tasks, starts up quickly and is fairly light. My only gripe is the space bar on mine is not as sensitive as it could be so find I sometimes have to press it twice. Could just be my one though.

I have one too and I agree. I have the exact same issue.

Time machine time....this was £99.95 on Amazon 27/11/2015. Should be a bit cheaper by now.
The Chromebook will support windows and is fairly rugged ,ideal for travel.

Dual boot or just W10?
Also how's your wifi reception?
I was using a dual band router when on Plusnet as the Acer seem to struggle desperately on the 2.4 range but was fine on 5ghz. Have swapped over to Sky broadband and using their single band hub and struggling again.

I would go with this laptop if it would have win xp. I hate other windows systems. I bought 2 days ago dell inspiron and i am disaapointed and I checked this ideapad 100s ciz my friend have and tbh.. i cant see much difference in speed which dell supposed to be better. Shame that sony is not manufacturing vaio anymore. I have 6yo vaio and feel like is still better than dell.. wtf

got mine today and for the money 99 it's a no brainer, seems OK so far, bit plasticy but that would be me being picky, just trying to get used to windows 10 now

Just W10
Wifi seems fine, I have never noticed any drop-out or range problems.

Keyboard and trackpad work fine, I think all of the hardware is supported. General performance is excellent. Its not a powerhouse, but the 2955u is a pretty useful CPU for most tasks. I don't think you can get anything better for near the price.
