Potential goose chase alert!!!

Not online and could be store specific.

Was in Tesco in Braintree Town centre earlier and saw a clearance on Lego Dimensions the starter packs with the following discounts:

£42.50 - Starter Pack - PS4 and XBOX ONE
£37.50 - Starter PAck - PS3 and XBOX 360
£12.50 - Lego Packs
£6.50 - Fun Packs

Loads more reduced in Llandrindod Wells now. Level packs at £7 and £6.25 and fun packs at £3.25-3.75.

Tried Tesco Durham a few days ago, still full price there. Might give the Tesco at Sunderland a look when I'm near there tomorrow but, I doubt they'll have anything either. None of the Tesco stores in this area ever have any of the good deals :disappointed:.

Checked the Maryhill Tesco Extra and they're not discounted, still full price (£60 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and £68 for Xbox One, PS4).

9 Simpsons Level Packs in clearance section in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, mid Wales for £14.

Nothing else though - I don't have the game so will pass I think unless anyone thinks this is worth buying in case I get it in future?

Id say get what you like most and are familiar with, good to play with character's you know then have them play with others!! I only got it cause of clubcard boost! Although disney infinity is good I finished 3 way too quick and the slogan possibilities is endless is a lie you cant play any character with all others like you can Lego!!

And what level packs would you recommend from the ones you've played? I didn't get this because I had Disney Infinity on the go. But of course that is finishing now.

Also wondering what the Amazon sale will bring in terms of discount on these packs...

Yeh its fun its all lego games in one, my issue is the keep moving the characters on the base but the game itself is fun and has funny cutscenes!!! And if you collect trophies its got platinum and each add on pack has trophies

Not in my local Extra, in fact, they've just added a fancy light up display stand for Lego Dimensions so I don't think it'll be reduced at least until the new one is launched

its store specific, i work on the entertainment section at tesco for the minute, and the stores are having a change round over the next 2 weeks, so plenty of clearance going on in various stores, unfortunately not everything is the same in every store

The Starter Pack has been discounted in loads of places before now, I imagine they're probably reducing the number of those they have so there's space for all the new character and level packs, and that new Ghostbusters pack that's halfway between a level pack and the starter pack.

Except there isn't going to be a new game as such. It'll be a digital update to the existing game, so starter packs aren't going to be outdated.
