It looks as if it's made from the same plastic as my hubbys Keter shed. I would seriously worry about condensation and humidity (and making a perfect breeding ground for bugs) with this.

Police dog handlers. Their dogs generally aren't allowed in their users house and tend to have a run in the garden and kennel. Sleeping inside is a big no no. Might be the same for working sheep dogs too

Bit is a silly question. Dogs are not naturally house dwellers, not many animals are!
Many dogs prefer to be outside as long as they have shelter, food, water and company they are perfectly happy. Not sure about some of the handbag variety that seem to becoming more abundant.

Surely something like this is a great thing for pet owners?? I have cats who sometimes like to go wandering at night and I'd feel a lot better knowing something like this is there for them to curl up in should they need it

Not actually true - you could go further and say dogs should be only housed with other dogs as they are naturally pack animals. Most domesticated dogs do not originate from the UK and lots have issues with our climate. while some breeds not only cope but thrive from living outside, others do not. Its not the option for all dogs.

I believe you will find that I stated "many dogs prefer to be outside". I also alluded to the fact that some newer breeds may not be so at home outside of their owners handbag.

I think pet lovers everywhere would take umbrage to such a sweeping statement. I know plenty of people that don't live in the cleanliest of environments but I am not one to judge.
