A lot of poor reviews due to poor reliability. Don't know if they've improved?

Bought 5 packs at full price last year, 2 x cool white and 3 x warm white.
Cool white - no trouble with these at all and perfect for kitchen.
Warm white - one stopped working in hallway within 3 months. One stopped working in living room within 12 months (I say stopped, odd issue, never switched on first try but I had to switch the lights off and back on for it to work).
Anyhow, in both cases screwfix asked to return a box full in order to replace one bulb (which I didn't mind). No actual hassle with the exchange though.
Warm white light is actually very close to halogen colour.

Good price for 5W LED's. Just remember the link takes you to 'Warm White' which emit a more warm yellow light. If you want a true white light order the 'Cool White' variety also down to £7.99 for pips of five.

I've got lots of these in the house, I'm happy with the light and dim very well compared to ones I've bought else where

I was in on Fiday and they had loads of others. Didn't put it on as admin think I work for them and was banned for a week on a last post I did for a Screwfix deal

Bought these this morning and some MR16's, good light output, let us see how they last, 3 year warranty anyway.

There are plenty of Screwfix stores, do a click and collect if ordering under £50

I find the warm whites much yellower than the warm whites they have replaced. I also think I preferred the very wide beam angle of the old ones (60/120) as whilst they didn't shine so brightly on the floor they gave many fewer shadows / dark corners at ceiling height than these ones do (room is 4m x 5m with 16 down lights)
I also got a Varilight vpro dimmer - this has three different driver modes. Does anyone know which mode should be used with these bulbs?
