Decent all in one printer for the money. Easy to set-up & comes with proper sized ink cartridges. Apparently quite cheap to run

The one I have now that sounds like an industrial factory starting up is a MG 5550,cant recall no. of previous model .I,d read warnings on blogs about cannon being useless these days but I had a stock of cannon inks so tempted my pocket and I made the same mistake that I really regret now.too many faults to list but its going down the tip soon as inks used up!

I thought the Kodak brand had been purchased by Asda/Walmart, and were just labeling all sorts of cheap rubbish Chinese electronics, with the brand?
If I am correct I would recommend you avoid them!

Kodak stopped making printers a couple of years ago and sold the brand to Funai.

I would say just be careful with Kodak printers- although they look good value for money, they do waste a considerable amount of ink between prints (charging the system, cleaning cycles, etc). We have had two Kodak printers previously (an ESP5 and ESP-7250) and both failed with print head issues. The 7250 had only done 700prints in 18 months, yet used 30 sets of cartridges, when check via diagnostics with Kodak support. The print head unit is £25 from Kodak (although you may be able to blag one free). Just be mindful of the hidden costs and don't get sucked into the whole Kodak "cheaper ink" spin...

I have had two Kodak printers and they were both (with hindsight) AWFUL. I fell for the cheap ink thing. The build quality is not good. The cost of a new print head is outrageous. Worse still, I bought one for my Dad and his was awful too. STEER CLEAR. A foul stain on the previously good name of Kodak. I have no idea how they can keep selling these. (Rant over - sorry!)

Funai.
Not sure why there's a code been added to my post. That doesn't work on this product. I'd tried it before posting. I guess it's an auto thing with the site.

Yikes - still happy here with an Epson fed with 'compatible' cartridges that cost in the pence rather than tens of pounds!

Kodak uses less ink on paper, seen the comparison myself. hence its cheap to use
