I know Tastecard deals are usually colder than the Arctic but for once this deal seems worth considering.
Join for 3 months for just £1 and get two Odeon tickets free. I guess this is for new members only, but probably works with different e-mail addresses. just remember to cancel well before the 90 days are up to ensure you are not auto renewed at full rate
Go via Topcasback or Quidco to get £1 cashback making it free!

Thanks to pressure from Martin Lewis you can do this online without the hassle of going through their telephone sales.
Saved a ton of cash with £1 trial Tastecard sign-ups (on my second now). The second time I did it in the restaurant where I was eating, got the app and used it there and then. I sign up with PayPal and cancel the sub on the PayPal site. This avoids aggravation. Speaking to others, I understand it's very difficult to actually contact them or speak to any one.

you cant do this way. You have to wait card then register it and then you will receive 2 codes and only then you will be able to claim tickets

How long does it take to get the cinema tickets, is it the day you sign up or do you have wait for them to come in the post

Details of how to claim come in your welcome pack that takes about a week to arrive. It is then an online request for the odeon codes but I can't recall if you could in theory request it before your pack arrives as the URL is generic - it needs name and membership number but can't recall if there is any special code required - sorry!

I have done this 3 times now and each time cancelled straight away before the card has even been sent. Never had a problem. There is no need to wait until the last few days

Make sure that's enough time. GS charge you like two weeks before. Annoying as. In their terms when you complain.

how long are the odeon tickets valid for?

Not strictly true. If you use the exact same details then no you can't, but if the name and email are different then you're fine. I've also had mine delivered to friends and neighbours as I'm pretty sure you're limited to one or two trials per household. At the end of the day, most people will just use the app anyway so if the card doesn't get to you its no big deal. (Just my experiences and hopefully it might get some people the chance to get this offer)
Yeah, and it's clearly stated, like with most of these cheap/free trials. If you don't cancel then it's your fault not the company, them the breaks

Avoid this company.
They take your payment details and renew subscription automatically.

Me too, I'm in the same situation - just tried and it doesn't work. I've had it in lots of different names and sent to different addresses and now I can't remember which email ady I might be able to use!

If you've had the 90 day for £1 trial before then they will not allow you to have another, but they will offer you a 12 month card for £29.99

Does anybody with a current Tastecard know if/what the airport lounge discounts are? I've just found out that the Gourmet Society have a 2-for-1 or a £16.95 Dragon Pass available, but can't find the info on Tastecard.

Be careful to cancel well before 90 days! I tried 3 days before and they'd already taken my money and refused to refund. Stuck for a year of slowly deteriorating offers.. Cinema often more expensive using taste card than without. Good deal just be careful to escape early.

Shame 90% of the restaurants I look at don't allow the discounts on Friday and Saturday. I know the whole point is for them to make more business during the week, but there's a reason why people on go during the weekends...

As mentioned before, pay by PayPal then login and cancel the recurring payment. Tastecard will email you the next day (once they've received a notification from PayPal I'm assuming) confirming you won't be charged past the free trial period.

Fed up getting emails and texts 'last chance offer of £29.99". Many of the local popular restaurants have ditched the scheme, now its either corporate chains where you can get similar deals from vouchercodes/cloud etc or restaurants with average reviews. This is not a deal but what can be considered a risk of landing a year contract for £39.99. AVOID!!

I've signed up for more trials with them than I can remember and I've never had an issue as I've always cancelled on time. It's a simple idea, get the cheap-asses to sign up for a freebie or a really cheap offer and hope that a few will enjoy the product and pay full price and keep going but also that a few people won't remember to cancel.

I signed up previously to the same offer and ended up getting charged full amount of about £40 because i just couldnt cancel it not online not ovee the phone. Was waiting for more than 45 minutes over the phone but no one would answer. Tried every possible way to get it cancelled... I would stay away from these scammers!
