We all know about their double cheeseburger for just £1.29 but they will let you add as many 'pattys' as you like on top (within reason!) for just 60p each.

They really are hitting back at McDonald's now!

This is advertised on a white background under their main menu with "How many can you handle".

Yes, £1.89 for a Triple Cheeseburger!

For example an extra 5 would be an extra £3 (7 burgers for £4.29)

This offer was originally for the XL burgers and those are £1 for each extra burger but we don't care about that.

Swindon say they won't put more than 15 in one bun.

Here is the original post that I did a few months ago with the brilliant picture of a burger from Hong Kong Burger King - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/1-29-double-cheeseburger-pay-just-60p-for-each-extra-burger-one-bun-burger-king-2428606#comments

For the sake of 9p you may as well buy another complete burger and get all the trimmings. Not a bad deal if you want 3 patty's I suppose.

If you are using the Hove restaurant ensure you take a phrase book and a microwave, and something to read whilst you are in the never ending queue.

Yes but it's pink in the middle, burgers should not have pink in them because of the risk of e.coli and other such nasties, regardless of what the americans say.
mart321
22 Jul 16 #106
Steaks are fine to eat rare as the nasties are on the outside of the meat which is cooked. The problem with burgers is that the meat is minced and shaped, so there's the potential to have nasties from the outside mixed into the middle of the burger.

It's "Remainers", not Remainians. And if you think Brexit was a wise move, I can't wait to see how you'll welcome the next sign of the forthcoming apocalypse, the imminent (if still somehow inconceivable) election of the duck-billed orange moron to the highest office of the United States of America. (Other recent signs include the election and then RE-election of a turd in a suit in 2004 in USA, the "war on terror", whose main effect on terror was to create and spread that terror to as many countries of the developed world as possible, the discovery of the ever more aggressive erosion of the privacy and freedom of the average citizen in supposed bastions of democracy and freedom (various secret, and now, thanks to Snowden, not-so-secret NSA and GCHQ programmes), the scarily easy manipulation of the great ignorant masses into getting THEM to curtail THEIR OWN freedoms and interests (notable recent examples: tort reform and Obamacare in the US, and here, of course, Brexit) - very much the same way a certain Adolf in the 1930s got great swathes of Europe to democratically vote to effectively ELIMINATE their own democractic rights.
Last, but in actuality, most serious, the now unstoppable global warming, exponentially sped up by an ever accelerating global population increase, the long-ranging effects of which will extinguish the great majority of human life within 60 years, through massive famine, lack of fresh water, huge population displacements, huge public unrest, rioting, eventual civil war in many countries, then widespread war on all continents apart from Antarctica, and uncontainable epidemic outbreaks of fast-acting mutated viruses against which we have no direct vaccinations or treatment.)
Enjoy the last few years of unlimited, clean, clear, blissfully taste-free cool water, because it will be a distant memory when your children and their children will have to kill each other in the streets to get the last few scraps of food and last few dribbles of stagnant water before their eventual horrific demise. Yes, I know, I'm hardly the first to cry "the end is near" but you should know I've never been an out-and-out pessimist, mostly a realist, and never until these last few years have I ever envisaged such a dark future for humanity.

Oh, enjoy your triple cardboard BK burgers, everyone.

I've heard some whoppers (pardon the pun) from the remain campaign but to compare the vote on Brexit as the same as voting in Adolf Hitler is the best one of all. How is voting for Brexit effectively eliminating our democratic (not democractic) rights?! No don't answer, my BS tolerance is empty.

But this below is the pinnacle of fear and doom peddling, scaremongering, and hysteria:

 Good God, can I change my vote. I've just destroyed the world! Are you the same bloke that carries that sandwich board around the square in my town.

WTF has any of this got to do with the hamburger deal anyway.
soldierboy001
23 Jul 16 #145
I think the Brexit campaigners told the biggest whopper ( pardon the pun ) telling us we will be Great again, yet a 2 % shift in the voting would have changed the verdict to remain, so it was not a very big vote for Brexit and my belief is that the majority of none voters if forced to vote as in the much shouted about lets have an Australian way of doing things would have voted for keeping things the way they were.
Good deal by the way, I find the little patties easier to digest than a whopper, but the Mc, sausage and egg McMuffin,is my favourite.

Cant see the point, if you want quadburger, just buy two double. For extra 9p you get whole bun and all the other veggie in there.

I love a good burger, and I'm spoilt for choice of good quality pattys in Newcastle as we have some amazing burger joints. However, the Bacon Double Cheeseburger XL from Burger King can hang with the best.

I was at the one in Battersea recently and it is still awesome. I can't speak for the rest as Battersea is the only one I have been in. Will definitely try Dirty Bones the next time I am down in London though.

And what pray has that got to do with my post or did you just want to show us all how stupid you can be?
xenophon
24 Jul 16 #155
You have actually shown how stupid you are by asking me to explain the obvious. You said: IF there had been a 2% swing to the remain campaign they would have won; IF the non voters had been forced to vote as in the Australian system they (in your belief) would have voted to remain. They are WHAT IFS, the standard pathetic excuses some give out in every election when their party didn't win.

No buts, no maybes, no ifs, the leave campaign won. The rest is just fruitless speculation someone uses when they haven't the maturity to deal with the fact.

In 5/6 years time when Britain is going down the pan because of Brexit, just see how hard the terms and conditions will be to try to get back in if they would let us back in at all.

The problem with that scenario is that it's the most pessimistic possible outcome, and whilst not impossible, it is not necessarily inevitable. Why not cheer up & look on the bright for a change - you know, glass half full kinda attitude? The world is now our oyster, and there should be no obstacles to our success that are insurmountable.

Im sure you have done extensive research.

I can go to local butcher and pay 60p for a far better burger than this, but though that doesnt include cooking costs, cooked for me and bun etc.

But since this is just about profit margin then they cost next to nothing and they get them in bulk.

I can even get 4 burgers for £2 at local butchers that are much nicer than these.
toomanychoices

Myoglobin (symbol Mb or MB) is an iron- and oxygen-binding protein found in the muscle tissue of vertebrates in general and in almost all mammals. It is related to hemoglobin, which is the iron- and oxygen-binding protein in blood, specifically in the red blood cells.

Oh well, as long as it's not actually blood then, that's fine, I'll let it seep out into my chips then....ooh, sorry, I just need to.......blaaaaargh. That's better.

Eaxh country has it's own definition of obese, so somebody categorised as obese in UK may only be 'overweight' in another country. I am not saying it is not a problem however.

And you carry a small stove and cooking utensils around with you so that if you fancy a burger whilst in town shopping you just settle down and make your own?
ryouga
26 Jul 16 #166
Someone can't read can they as I mentioned things like cooking costs and the person was talking about PROFIT!!
soldierboy001
26 Jul 16 #167
And I was pointing out to you that this was for a meal away from home which will always come at a higher cost than shop purchases and cooking costs and you were not comparing like with like and everybody that sells something is out to make a profit and the profit these people make satisfies their customers that's the way these things work. So in the event your post was a waste of the time spent posting it and you will never get that time back.
ryouga
26 Jul 16 #168
Derp, I think you will find your comment was the one that was the one that was a waste of time.

It's funny how all through my life that people in the wrong will always attempt to change things to try to make themselves to be in the right.

I don't kneed to put ignorant comments on my posts to upset you.
ryouga
26 Jul 16 #170
Wow troll failure there.

You were the one who thought they were in the right and intentionally challenged me, when I made a comment about profit margins and quality and you made a silly comment like telling me if I carried around cooking stuff.

The original comment I made was related to someone talking about profit margins, when I was stating better quality burgers can be bought from a butcher by a consumer and still cost less, to add to that thus a big chain which buys in bulk and cooks in bulk cuts down on overheads so the profit margin is higher than you think and also I mentioned the cost of not doing it yourself.

Seems you either lack reading comprehension or just want to argue.

How old are you? 12?
soldierboy001
26 Jul 16 #171
Just shows how low in intelligence you are when you can't tell the difference between buying a product when you are out of your home environment and cooking at home your whole argument was just a way for you to appear superior to people who like to have something to eat or drink when they are out. I'm well above the age you try to apportion to me and well able to tell the difference between someone selling you at a profit and you making similar at home, I bet your coffee only costs you 5p but then you don't have to make a profit to remain open for others to be able to get a double cheese burger at £1.29.
Get out of my hair small fry.

If you use the word 'patty' I don't know what you are.
ryouga
26 Jul 16 #173
Actually now you must be a troll or the low intelligence as I never implied superiority at people who eat there and can you show me where I compared eating out to eating at home? Since IT DOES NOT EXIST,

The coffee? You mean like when I avoided a local Starbucks when 2 minutes walk away is a local coffee shop that has been there almost 100 years that sells various beans from the world and costs almost half the price and even gives you the cafetiere.

What a lack of intelligence and reading comprehension you ahve when I was quoting someone who was questioning profit margins and I responded with higher quality burgers can be bought yourself at a cheaper price, you are the one that saw that as me not knowing the difference and thinking I was superior.

Please tell me where I also said I wouldn't buy a burger there?

You been frequenting the same coffee shop for nigh on a century  blimey that's impressive and also goes to show that caffeine is nowhere near as bad for us as the health Stasi would have us believe.

Tell me, was this coffee shop based on the Dutch model so you could smoke sweeter smelling blends of tobacco in there back in the day when you was a lad?
