This is a great phone. Bought it for £145 a couple of months ago, worth every penny.

If you don't mind a "used: very good" one from Amazon Warehouse you can get one today for £123. Great price for a new one though.

The Nexus has official Android instead of EMUI and also system updates until Sep 2017. You get 4K video recording and a faster processor/gpu performance. No brainer for that little bit extra price.

The Nexus doesn't have a FM radio which is a surprise as most mobiles do.:disappointed:
It does have NFC though not sure how much use that is..?

Looks like the Marshmallow update is being rolled out to it:
and yes marshmallow for the European 5X (KIW-L21C432B330 build) can be installed from a web download, don't know about OTA. This version only has 2G RAM.
I have a Huawei (the company behind the Honor brand) P8 with Android 5.0.1, bought in June last year. It was supposed to receive the marshmallow update back in October, it never did. I wouldn't hold my breath for timely updates from this company.
That said, the handset here looks like a good deal, heat from me

Details on how to get the P8 Mm update posted here 4 months ago - also see my next post (2-3 posts below it) on that thread.

Thank you.
I was aware that in developers' forums (xda for example) you can find MM roms which can be manually flashed. But I never received an official OTA update notification, and a manual update check still doesn't give results. It's kind of different, but I'll look into this option again soon.

The dual sim + independent SD slot is a nice feature, and the metal body looks classy too, and 3GB RAM won't hurt either.
