Never too big as long as you have a decent sound system to back it up. I setup my cinema upstairs on the Epson he-tw6100 projector (bargain from cex). Kids watched Tomorrowland. Picture roughly 180 inch and sound played through yamaha 677 receiver (£100 on gumtree). The kids loved the movie.

I have a semi victorian house. The lounge is 17ft long going into bay windows. I moved the radiators to window side and put the tv on the wall opposite the bay windows. Now our 50 inch TV looks too small from the sofa in the bay window so looking to get a 65 inch TV. I had the chimney breast removed to fit 3 3 seater sofa in that room. Now I'm regretting it as room has no character.. it's too contemporary. Eek

Thanks. That's what I wanted! Much better then me trying to screenshot and read. Ya so the M7000 series is better than the K5510. I would imagine the new 65"M7000 will be the same as the 55M7000.
Still the 65K5510 is still a great deal.
Richer Sounds' warranty is actually underwritten by a 3rd party insurance specialist underwriter. This was explained to me when I bought my TV 6 years ago..even if they go bust (highly unlikely given that RS shops make the highest sales revenue per unit floor area of ANY retailer in the UK), the guarantee will be honoured.
For CS, I don't think you'll find a better electronics retailer in the UK (perhaps only equalled by JL?).
I mean I am no expert either but I did went to compare the spec online as It was a hard choices for me to choose between a better or a bigger. At the end I did the same, went for the 55m7000. Instead of the 65k5510.
Just arrived and it looks awesome!

I'd love this but our 55" TV is already ridiculously large for our living room (I live in a fairly big victorian semi). Our 55-er has to go near the window where it blocks out a lot of light. Where are people putting these 65"+ TVs they're buying these days? Did living rooms suddenly expand overnight? Most 'new builds' have fairly modest sized rooms. I'm not judging. But I do wonder about this on a fairly regular basis

Hi, the new model that is coming is the same one that is currently on john Lewis 55m7000. Which will be 65m7000. The spec will be the same as the 55m7000 which I have end up buying. Amazing value for money and spec. You can compare them both on richer sound. John Lewis will stick them in the coming month at £1200.
I have compare these two model for weeks and the HDR and ULED really sold it to me. I mean the size do make a massive different 55" size is 123cm X 710cm whereas the 65" is 145cm X 900cm.

I'm not being nasty I hope, but why couldn't you Google "What is HDR?"
Here's what I'm getting at from the above article >
"Previously, HDR was rushed out to consumers before anyone had really agreed on a set of standards to define it. TV manufacturers and content providers therefore had very little in terms of clearly defined specs to work to when creating HDR screens and content.
"With the UHD Premium label, we now know the precise specifications to which a TV must conform in order to be considered HDR compatible."

Go into a shop and ask them to put one of the TV's in HDR mode. I put my samsung 7 series to the side real quick. I was looking at the 58inch Hisense which is suppose to get an HDR update but got a display LG very cheap from John Lewis so I wont complain. good luck in your search, I will say it is worth it.
