£40 (possibly £50) cheaper than the same model Argos deal that I posted yesterday.
Use code TENNEROFF for a £10 saving.
I did manage to add GET20 code for a £20 discount but not sure if that is just for new customers but worth a try for a potential extra £10 off (now confirmed by a purchaser as working).

Good news for owners of this series of TV.
Just got off the phone with the Hisense tech dept and they confirm that the panel is 10 bit, not 8 and that a firmware update is definitely coming later in the year to update the 2 HDMI 2.0 ports to 2.0a to support HDR there, as well as over USB.

Bought the M3000 about a month ago..A bit of tinkering on the settings, and you can get a great picture. The only gripe I have noticed is the slow menues/EPG. send a note to Hisense who advised they have not seen any lag and suggested a reset.. Not yet done that, and doubt it will resolve it. Seems like the processor struggles. Be good if anyone else notices lag in menus.

probably be 180 if it wasn't for the bezel and lack of astronomical body to bend light from the surface.

Can it do 60fps @ 4K?
Also does it have 120 or 100hz refresh rate?
Not motion but refresh rate
I would really appreciate if anyone who has this tv or knows about this as the gaming performance depends on these
Looks like it has Amazon instant video too which probably tips it for me. Does anyone know if you can load other apps on to it e.g. Wuaki, Mubi etc?

Personally I'm not convinced by this cheaper will break in a short time thing that some people often shout about.
I had a UMC cheap LCD TV from Tesco that went on for 6 years until I gave it away and it's still going strong.
Always worth looking at extended warranty costs to see if that gives you peace of mind whilst still saving money.
Give them a call on 03330 436697 and see what they say about typical prices.

I was thinking more like the tv breaks in 18 months where as a Samsung should go at least 5 years. So mayb pay a bit more for a better brand. Im still looking but can't decide
what does exactly do?? it does process it but does not display it, what does suppose to do??
Anyway only for my knowledge, which model is that?? Always thinking to go for a Samsung next

17 Jul 16#14
I don't think that there was an equivalent M3000 40", just 43" and 49".
Could look rather confusing though as you would have perhaps that a greater number might mean improvements.

17 Jul 16#10
not great viewing angle by the looks of it. looking for good 43". Keep getting tempted buy other cheaper brands like shard and hisense but dont want to have to buy another tv after a year and a half.

17 Jul 161#12
With the angles being described as 89/89 I wonder if this essentially adds up to 178 (89 each way), which is essentially the same as most TV's of the type these days.
Is it not potentially the same situation with the more expensive brands too though?
In 18 months they might all be trying to push 8k and god knows what other new things that they can bolt on to persuade us that we need to update.

Shame it's not HDR would have had one, doubt very much it's a simple as a firmware update, probably involves additional hardware...

It is HDR at least in parts.
Quite a few of the manufacturers have been issuing firmware updates to both last year and newer models to support HDR across HDMI too.
Let us hope that Hisense will follow suit.
