looking through comparisons to other models this fridge freezer ticks all my boxes at a good price.
The only down side to me is the electrical usage at 289kwh but that is literally is. So its about 40kwh more than the really effecient models on the market - but it is bigger with a massive 285 litres capacity.
Any thoughts, suggestions, alternatives or vouchers would be much appreciated, thanks all.

I would have jumped onto this had it not been for the slightly smaller freezer size. Rest all looks good.

This is fine, especially for full 2 years warranty. 40KWH per year = 6GBP? Still worth it.

hisense is pretty good quality, certainly for the price. I have a red fridge freezer from them and love it. it is silent and the internal light is a large column at the back. bought my friend at from them through richer sounds for £220 and it is better then mine that cost more than twice much. would not hesitate to buy from them again.

i bought over the last few years 2 hisense fridge and freezers they are a really good i suppose there as good as the high street brands like bosch etc. i am really happy with it unlike with the indesit freezer i have which is really poor quality and its even better than my beko fridge
and most of the time hisense products has more storage place then most oother companies

This is also available at 365electrical.com It's £10 more than Argos but includes free next day delivery. Argos delivery is anything up to 10 days.

Was going to take the plunge on this, but just read some horrific stories about their customer service in the cases of faulty TV's.

It's a good buy & I would have been interested if it were 50/50 or even 60/40 but at 70/30 the freezer is simply too small
Hisense may be a Chinese manufacturer but one of the biggest in the world as a result.....quality is good......

Doesn't look 70/30 in the pics, more like 60/40.

Check the capacities......freezer capacity is 30% of the total.....it may not look it but the heavily insulated freezer only has around 80 litres compared to over 200 for the fridge

Net fresh food storage volume 201 litres.
Net frozen food storage volume 84 litres.

Yes, but the split is usually in the appearance i.e. the door sizes. The compressor is pretty much always at the bottom behind the freezer compartment, so most people would be aware that the freezer compartment is not as deep as the fridge. But your point is valid none-the-less.

Any suggestions of 60/40 or 50/50 would be good if anyone has one bought previously

Thanks OP, bought one, but got it at 365electrical instead, virtually the same price but with faster delivery. Works for us as we have more fresh food than frozen by far.

I am looking for one but worried that the fridge may not be big enough. Would someone who has this be kind enough to measure the interior of the fridge for me please before I order it? height and width.
Many thanks.
My Hisense fridge-freezer arrived yesterday, first impressions, very good. Loads of room in both fridge and freezer. The freezer especially is massive, a lot bigger than I thought it would be based on some of the comments on here. I got mine from 365electrical.com as the delivery was quicker than Argos.

Many thanks for this. As I thought the fridge is smaller than the one I have now and I am always struggling for space. I think I will need a 70/30 split one.

It's massively bigger than the one we had previously, over a foot taller for a start, and freezer compartment is also very much larger and better laid out - all drawers, not just a cover for a fixed shelf behind.
