nope it went down to £249 and quickly went back up. price is fluctuating between 249-349, if you're looking to buy for £249 you should check every so often. I don't know if this is the same model, but this is £280. not sold by Amazon though
i have this and am really impressed for the money... connections are really good HDMI 2.0, smart features are ok YouTube lacks 4k. it's no way as good as my 50 Panasonic bit that cost 1200... you shouldnt slate it before youve actually used it. I think for 250 you cant get better

Is it really worth specing 4K on a 40" TV?
I very much doubt it...

it is for the fact it gives you access to higher quality streams.
1080p streams are noticeably inferior to blu ray but 4k streams are as good as 1080p blu rays.
so if you use netflix or prime its very much worth it as the stream quality is a lot better

Theres a techwood 40" 1080p smart freeview etc etc for £174 doing the rounds... Cant see the reason to go £75 extra for the Hisense badge.

Is that 4k though?

I don't think they are same. Hisense have hdmi 2.0, hevc and Roku player to play Netflix 4k inside. Techwood is only 4k screen with any other intelligent or new technology. I don't think Techwood can play [email protected] due to hdmi 1.4 only and other issues. When I saw the Techwood price, I was impressed for a minute, but when I looked at the specs, Techwood is not really 4k TV, just 1080p TV with 4k screen.

Shame, was going to buy it for the bedroom but it's now £349.99. Won't be paying that for a Hisense.

I bought a Techwood 4K TV for the bedroom and was surprised that all four HDMI sockets were 2.0 and HDMI 1 will play 4K at 60hz. I use my Xbox One on it and plays perfectly and I know someone who bought 3 of them to use for a 4K gaming wall. Yes they are cheap but they are better than expected and picture quality is also brilliant.

Atm there is no point paying for a 4k TV especially one this cheap. Bound to be crap

don't buy this for 4k gaming these cheap sets are lag central the lower refresh rates can't handle the 4k
sam_of_london to callofdute1
