This already includes the highway code and the national sings (so a saving of £1.20)
DVSA recommended me this as the official theory test with the latest questions and hazard clips provided by them.

Firstly - Good Luck with the test! It's certainly tougher than when I did it 20+ years ago.
Secondly - Everyone should have a read of these now and again. It's amazing what you don't know / have forgotten. This will be a term in your vehicle insurance that you agree to each year:
"Agree to drive obeying the Highway Code at all times."
I say this because I take more of an interest than most in the highway code because I use a bike to get to and from work. Hence, I get a lot of bile spouted at me, most of which I just have to ignore. But it's interesting when you research what is / isn't recommended.
Overall, consideration for others *should* be the default setting when you are sharing the road with others. Cheers,
No, they all drive Audis these days. And this book is out of date because it doesn't include the fact that the middle lane on a motorway is reserved for Mercedes.

The boy racers out there and the Audi drivers could use a copy of this, maybe they skipped parts of it.

I'm always astounded when morons overtake me, when I'm cycling, into the path of oncoming vehicles or on blind bends on a B road where there's a 60mph speed limit

You can download the highway code free as a PDF from the Highway Code website.
Ideally, you should try to imagine if he was your granddad, dad, mum would you want some zealous youth like you to use option a, b, c or a combination of them.
lol at people buying this, what does the highway code say when you are stuck on a twisty section following some sunday driving grandad only doing 40 in a 60. Do you.. a) wind down the window and give him the **** sign, b) tail gate him within an inch of his **** and flash the main beams, or...c) overtake him before the next bend regardless of the odds of survival.
All know correct answer is c) but doubt that is what the "code" states.

Maybe take some driving lessons, pass the test and then you'll find out.
I'd say road conditions are tougher than 20 years ago, never mind the theory test.
The amount of drivers (5 this morning alone) who head towards me on my side of the road indicates just how little people bother adhering to the highway code or even know it exists (such as foreign drivers). Rather than been considerate towards other roads users, it seems most just barge their way through, such as when a bus or whatever blocks their side of the road. Instead of waiting patiently until its safe to pull round the obstruction, they'd rather play 'chicken' with the oncoming traffic.

Use common sense and have patience when driving.
