This cable changed my life By Steven G. on 28 Nov. 2015
This cable is truly outstanding. To fully appreciate how good this cable is I need to tell you some background information about myself. Me and my wife have been trying to conceive a child for quite some time now, with no luck. Doctors had told us that we may never have a child and this is due to a condition on my part. So we gave up trying and took up hobbies instead. The hobby that I chose to take up is to become a connoisseur of gentleman's special interest literature, which went very well. My wife decided that she would take up nagging. Which she was very proficient in straight off the bat. So for my new hobby I decided to get all new equipment. I bought a 60" 4K led TV, a blu-ray player and the Audio Quest Diamond HDMI Cable. Because of this cable the picture was so clear! I could see every hair, I could even see that the female actress "Tiffany Cummins" had a faint moustache, which, I presume, I wouldn't have been able to see with a £10 HDMI cable. This provided me with hours of high quality entertainment and sore forearms. One quiet evening after the wife had finished her daily nagging routine I thought it would be a good idea to invite her to join me to watch my gentleman's blu-rays with me, and she accepted the invitation. After a good evening of watching the incredible quality movies we went to bed and thought nothing of it. A few weeks later my wife started feeling a bit ill, so we took her to the doctor to have him take a look. After an hour or so the doctor came out, shook my hand and congratulated me on conceiving our first child. But we had neglected to do the required process for this to happen for quite some time. Initially I suspected my wife had been unfaithful but after 9 months a beautiful baby boy was born. But he didn't look like me, I recognised the face though. I pulled out my (now very large) blu-ray collection and put on the film we had on the night my wife joined me in my hobby, and my son looked exactly like the leading actor. Yes this HDMI cable made my films so clear and realistic, it made my wife pregnant. Thank-you Audio Quest for making such a top quality cable.

That's because the trusted sales people at Currys say it's the best cable available, and what's the point in buying this pointless 4K curved 65" TV without having the best cable available to watch the none existent 4K stuff on the 4K TV we have just sold you? Oh, and it's gold :o
Never had a problem with cheap HDMI/Toslink cables personally.

The likes of Curry's, PC World, Argos etc must make a pretty penny out of the unsuspecting customer.

they are making a mint as people wont research before they go to buy something. all it takes is 2-3 hours googling for info. IF you have a computer with internet.

I paid about 30 quid for my first HDMI cable many years ago and it wasn't due to any dodgy salesman either. I don't think anyone would argue a decent scart or component cable doesn't help improve PQ so without really thinking it through, I ordered one with some other analogue cables I was ordering. Only made that mistake once though and now have 1000's of pounds worth of kit round the house wired up with 99p HDMI cables!

Found a better one on amazon although it's slightly more expensive. Grabbed a couple for spares

It merely has the capability built in.

When I got my TV from Richer Sounds I haggled the price down which meant they gave me a £30 cable. It broke quicker than my amazon Chinese supplier ones for a few quid!
