Amazing price for this set, it's the cheapest I've ever seen it by quite a margin, think the cheapest it's ever been at Amazon was £44 & its currently between £69.99 to over £100 elsewhere. The price of £34.99 also includes FREE Express Delivery.

Just to educate people a little bit after they've chimed in when they clearly don't know what they are talking about!! Kodi and using Kodi to stream anything, is not illegal. Its perfectly legal. You aren't downloading it so there is a physical file on your firestick/box/tablet/pc etc. You cannot be prosecuted in any way at all for streaming anything. Be it an old movie. A new movie. A copy of a film that has been recorded by somebody with a camcorder in the back row of the cinema. The person/company hosting the file on their server can be prosecuted, but as it currently stands, streaming any version of Harry Potter or any other film / tv program is perfectly legal.
Oooh yeah, I voted hot too

If you mean 'watching online through illicit means', then you are incorrect. Purchasing a DVD merely gives you a license to watch the contents in that given media format. The law surrounding format shifting changed in 2014, which means that it is now lawful to, for example, rip a DVD to your computer to digital format for personal use. The law does not however give you a right to access the same media via an unlicensed stream, or any other means. As daft as it sounds, that is the technicality of it. It is a grey area. (Imagine: otherwise you could purchase a VHS copy, and then watch a 1080p stream online claiming that it is within the terms of your original purchase!)
We should all remember that a breach of copyright law is enforced, for the most part, in its civil remedy form. Criminal proceedings are only likely to be taken in severe cases (e.g. where copyrighted works are being resold for commercial purposes). A comparison with 'theft' is also technically inaccurate.

Sorry... Had to chime in on this... If you are watching copyrighted material for free then you ARE stealing that copyrighted material... Just because you have a flashy way of obtaining the illegal content because unscrupulous people have gone out of their way to create add-ons for Kodi doesn't make it any less illegal.
You comment is infuriating because you seem to think those who are better informed or want to keep the quality of our media up are "posh" and "stuck up"?! Well, I'll just keep my fingers crossed they track your IP and send you a hefty fine or court date.

Hivanh91
3 Jul 16#100
That's just daft and greedy - where do you even store 70 of these? Surely people can't be getting that much profit for them though? Once you factor in ebay fees and paypal and postage fees, assuming you sell them for a reasonable price (not above £50.00) you're only going to be making less than 1 tenner each... and that's only if you find 70 people willing to pay that price for them.

First two films (PS and CoS) are definitely the extended cuts on Blu-ray in this package and I'm fairly certain the audio is DTS-HD MA on the first 4 or 5 now, although I only ever recall it being LPCM on the older releases I had from the earlier 8-film boxset, so it was still lossless either way.

I dont have Kodi either I pay for my films in one way or an other, be it through Netflix or if I really want a film I will purchase it.
I admit before blurays came along I regularly purchased hooky dvds from the market or downloaded pirate copys but they were usually really bad. Now I usually preorder the films for release day and I dont mind paying a higher price. But Im not going to walk into HMV and steal them which is effectively what you are doing!!
So I, for one, do look down on thieves.

Kodi sucks, people have no standards in quality to want to watch everything degraded. Call me a snob but DVDs don't cut it for me either and I only watch HD channels where possible. I like physical copies over digital and refuse to pay for something I can't touch. I also think people are mad to think otherwise but that is my opinion. Great deal, bought.

PS: ... thief...
We should all remember that a breach of copyright law is enforced, for the most part, in its civil remedy form. Criminal proceedings are only likely to be taken in severe cases (e.g. where copyrighted works are being resold for commercial purposes). A comparison with 'theft' is also technically inaccurate.
You comment is infuriating because you seem to think those who are better informed or want to keep the quality of our media up are "posh" and "stuck up"?! Well, I'll just keep my fingers crossed they track your IP and send you a hefty fine or court date.

Someone mentioned a year ago that a 4k version was in the works.
@34.99 = £29,881......Not bad for a days work!!!
So if every person who voted this hot also brought the box set, then the new seller has 1000 less customers to sell to!
I think they're gonna get stung on this one :smirk:
Like what are you gonna do with 90 copies? Build a replica Hogwarts with them?
I admit before blurays came along I regularly purchased hooky dvds from the market or downloaded pirate copys but they were usually really bad. Now I usually preorder the films for release day and I dont mind paying a higher price. But Im not going to walk into HMV and steal them which is effectively what you are doing!!
So I, for one, do look down on thieves.
Shame there isnt a dislike button!

Actually, don't look at Store.HMV.com, as it is £15.00 more than Amazon (UK) at present...

many thanks OP
Amazing price.
Try before you buy if you must but if you enjoy it at least funnel some money back into the industry.
PS. I don't have (nor want) Kodi.

TBH the Harry Potter phenomenon is long over now, so stuff shouldn't be exceptionally expensive. According to other descriptions for the "hogwarts collection"; it does.
PS - ive got kodi but you cant beat the quality of local disc playing and the extras
