Found my Miele to be a lot better than my old dyson . I think dyson are vastly over rated.

With miele, what is the difference between C1, C2, C3. They all look similar and each derivative has lots of submodels. Finding it a bit complicated...

co-op is also selling the C2 version for 119.00 + free delivery. However, there is no mention of it being the Cat &Dog version.
had one of these for a few years and it's pretty much indestructible....

I've had mine for close to 20 years and it's as good now as the day we bought it. It replaced a broken Dyson DC02 (I booted it down the stairs, as I'd had enough of it!). Bagless vacs! I hate them, as the fine dust blows everywhere when you go to empty them! What a con-artist James Dyson was/is!

or order this one from amazon which is twin power henry vaccum cleaner roughly same price great results with low noise and comes with bag.
It seems to be the C3 Complete Cat and Dog Powerline which has all the awards - Which Best Buy 2015 "best we have ever tested", Mumsnet Best 2015 etc
I don't think the C1 or the C2 are the real deal.

Interesting. Although I've now seen the Bosch deal someone posted, and now the ebay deal. My head hurts.

we bought this recently to replace our dyson. its a great vacuum for the money and by far outperforms our dyson. only downside is that it is too powerful to move easily over our carpets on full power with the regular head on it.

We're still in the EU for at least 2 years and power doesn't necessarily equate to performance.

So this or the Bosch guys? Need a vacuum for the dog hair. Thanks. Anyone know prices on replacement bags?

Don't know the prices but generic bags are always cheap on eBay or amazon

I checked, both models are £2 average PER BAG what a joke. Should make these like tassimo coffee machines cheap to buy the machine then spend ££ on pods. I'll stick with my "crappy" days on instead!! £2 for a Hoover dust bag!!! I'd laugh but I'm too annoyed.

This is my second Miele. I made the mistake of moving to a cheaper bagless vaccum and got sick to death of being covered in dust every time I attempted to empty it. The generic bags are fine and last an age in these hoovers. The Miele for me has simply been the best hoover I have ever owned just wish I hadn't wasted my money on something else in between replacing the old one ( which lasted for years).

I agree it's no fun emptying a dyson I hold my breath actually you can catch some pretty nasty stuff off that dust. I want one of these hovers but I'm not buying one out of principle due to the cost of a freaking dust bag. 50p max imo

After reading the comments, checking the links, reading reviews - I finally decided on purchasing the Bosch that was linked to earlier. Outstanding review from Which? magazine in which they didn't find any faults (81%) compared to the Miele which was 70% and had issues with some vacuuming. Customer reviews on multiple sites confirmed these. Plus it's £20 cheaper, with a guaranteed 2 year warranty. Cheers for the links, people.
