This is more of a heads up rather than an amazing price but I've been on the lookout for this for a while and my usual places (Tesco, Asda, Morrisons) don't seem to stock it. Guinness Hop House 13 330ml bottles for £0.99 each found in B&M Clacton on Sea. I've put this as local as can't find online and not checked any other store.
**edit** As I've gone to post it seems it's available from Tesco Groceries online for £1.79 so this is a 80p saving plus I've never found it instore
*****edit2** Shelf label showed 1.09 but just checked receipt and they scan at 99p. happy days

Another huge brewery trying to pretend they are a craft brewery, sorry but this is just another slightly less bland beer.

Have you tried Guinness export? That's a superb Russian style stout at 7.5% it also goes under the name of John Martin Guinness. It's the same beer as the export and only difference is the price. Export is 4 for £5 at asda and JMG is about a fiver a bottle.
Trust me, Guinness export is a superb beer. I agree about the rest of their range. It's very poor.

Picked the last of these up recently at my local about 3 weeks ago and they had since restocked this weekend. Really nice tasting beer, nothing along the lines of Guiness despite the brewery. Just be aware that if your intending to stock up on a few or keep for a bit, they might have very short best before dates (late August in my store).

Been intermittently either priced at £4 for one four pack or £5 for one / £8 for two for a while in the one near me.

Disagree it's awesome! Im in the mighty west of Ireland now and last night all I seen was those glasses everywhere. Same at a wedding last month which was the first time I had it - thought it was great.
99p is a bargain were paying near on 5 euros for a pint!

I keep seeing adverts on TV, but never the beer in shops 'round here. Is it actually any good? To be honest, I've never been very impressed with Guinness as a stout but I do quite like their export porter, so if this is as good as that I would search it out.

That's why I posted, I've been wanting to try for ages but non of my local supermarkets stocked. It's a very full flavour, I opened and finished my 2nd bottle whilst writing the post so it goes down easily but I only managed 3 all evening, it's not a "get on the beers" all night drink.

Good price for single bottles. I prefer this in stead of the common or garden 'lagers'

The sad thing is you can find these stupid Guinness variations much easier than real Guinness now. It makes me so
