The GMG summer sale has started. The theme for the first day is "final frontier", so there's space and sci-fi themed deals. Some of the highlights for today are:
Offworld Trading Company Deluxe Edition – £17.99, €23.79, $23.57
Galactic Civilizations III – £8.29, €10.99, $10.79
Deus Ex Collection – £4.79, $6.79, €6.79
Endless Space Gold – £4.79, €5.79, $5.79
XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe – £21.29, €28.79, $32.99
Lots of other things with the current days theme on sale as well.
You have to sign in to see those prices, otherwise it'll show them as slightly higher. The sale will be on for the next two weeks.

DLC for XCOM 2 worth the premium? £16.79 for the game by itself :stuck_out_tongue:

If you're a hardcore fan, yeah. More XCOM is always worth the premium
For most folk - probably not, tbh. I love the XCOM games, but of the two DLC packs available so far, one adds nothing (just cosmetic stuff for customising your troops); the other adds just a couple of missions.
The third and final pack (available soon, I believe) doesn't look like it adds much to the game, either.

Some good prices, some not so good. It's worth noting that the old school Star Wars games that got re-released on Steam last year, including ones that weren't in the Humble Bundle (Rogue Squadron, etc.) are heavily reduced, about £1-2 each, which is cheaper than any Steam sale, so that's a pretty good deal.

Apparently the third pack adds a new class of soldier, namely a big mech from what I've heard and is worth getting, but otherwise the first two packs are not worth it.

Third one came out little over two weeks ago, seems to have okay reviews. I loved xcom but its still a hard decision, extra fiver nearly for what is mostly tosh from the looks of it

Hot if you want it now, but I think i'll hold out for a lower price on Xcom

I have never bought from GMG before. How dies it work? Do they send you the download code via email or some kind of 'reveal' system?

You'll get a code for redemption with the relevant platform (Steam, in most cases).

I've just bought the Mystery Bundle (5 & 1). Feel a bit robbed! Anybody have any duplicate games they want to trade for any of these? None are my cup of tea
STEELSTORM&DLC
TIDALIS
BUNKER
LEGENDOFCANDLEWIND
LUCIUS
CUBICLEQUEST
Will swap all these for a Rogue Squadron key. Why didn't I just buy that in the 1st place?

Unfortunately the mystery games always seem to from the same selection of games; none of which are good. Apparently there are a few 'good' games you can get but they're very uncommon.
