Director Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity stars Sandra Bullock as Dr. Ryan Stone, a scientist on a space shuttle mission headed by astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), a talkative, charismatic leader full of colorful stories that he shares with his crewmates as well as mission control. Possibly daft question but I cant find the answer on the few websites I've checked; do you have to swap disks half way through?
I assume not as it hasn't been mentioned in any reviews.

No, one disc will be 3D, the other 2D most likely. BD discs are big enough that you would never need to swap half way

give us the model and make, many 4k TV's can play 3d
Except for lord of the rings extended. Still 2 blurays for the movie. One disk will never rule that film...

You must've been lucky and never seen Die Hard 5, Indiana Jones 4, Cherry Falls, to name a few.
I thought it an OK film, brilliant soundtrack.

Yep! Thing is I never watched the whole of Indiana Jones 4... this one suckered me in thinking there would be some pop out 3D. As such... the movie owes me 2 hours of my life & thus in my opinion, the worst movie ever... Prometheus is a close second.

Most 4k tv's don't have 3D but some do. Your TV must have 3D though because if it doesn't it doesn't make any difference whether your player does.
I saw this in an imax cinema in 3D and it was amazing, the story didn't have much bearing on the visual effects. I have since watched it on my TV and realised it has to be seen at the cinema

yes correct, a terrible film you say but a great price for the steelbook. I hope it does taste good as otherwise is a complete waste of money just for the steelbook

You need a 3D Blu-ray player and 3D TV to watch 3D Blu-ray Disc.

The 2nd picture in the eBay listing shows "Blu-Ray + DVD + Ultraviolet", (http://r.ebay.com/foLkpd) but I think this is a mistake. The item description for the same steelbook on Amazon shows "Blu-Ray 3D + Blu-Ray + Ultraviolet" (Gravity - Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray] [2014] [Region Free] https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H3O9674/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_D9EHxbNPDFF9M)
Be wary, fellow deal-hunters. :man:

arrive today. I think the reason it was cheap is that the ultra violet download code has expired!
brianfj1200
16 Jul 16#41
Yep I agree Ultraviolet expired 03-03-2016 but yet to watch the film in 3D
miaomiaobaubau
16 Jul 16#42
I would ask for a compensation or prepaid postage to return it, anyway got 300 on steelbook the other day, it does expire in 2017, so nothing to do with the fact that was cheap. They both are non native 3d anyway
