Lots of great reviews for this good quality damp meter. This was previously on sale around £16 and got 600 degrees of heat - as this is cheaper surely a great deal?!

Opening windows did no good here, ended up needing a PIV & a few sensors to help monitor levels, damp has since stopped spreading.

Gunna test this on the missus. She got very damp downstairs when watching "Naked Attraction" on Channel 4. Plumping, incidentally, for the bloke in purple, with the moles and all the pheromones.

Coincidence but I used mine for the first time in years - it's a good device, tells you on the back what levels you should be looking at for low, medium, high moisture.

I got this and took my local council to trial and one!
For 10 years I was fobbed off with surveyors telling me their very expensive Protimeter was calibrated to wood and the alarm noise was irrelevant in my brick house.
One button on this unit switches from timber to masonry. Corrupt officials exposed because I used my meter.

Positive Input Ventilation. It's a big intake fan you usually fit in your loft that runs constantly pushing air out through gaps in your house. Considerably reducing moisture levels. They cost from £300 to buy and approximately £5 a year to run.
