Good cheap price for one of these grills. My son wanted one he could use as he uses his Granny's when staying with her. Figured at this price he can cook away and I won't freak out it if he scrapes it in the process! Have it reserved and picking it up this afternoon.
I am aware that there was a previous post a couple of weeks back but it shows that it expired so the deal is back on. And at that time I wasn't looking for one so hadn't noticed it. Wanted one today and stumbled across this, but still googled it to make sure it was a good deal.

Ordered this a few days ago, I got reservation confirmation for collection 3 days later - as no stock at that moment. Went on the specified day from my text to collect item...I was told they couldn't get hold of these anymore from their supplier, especially at this price and that as a result couldn't fulfill the reservation. The assistant gave me a 10% off voucher for any purchase within the store as way of apology. I asked if I could have a quick word with the manager and suggested that they let me have the 7 portion one instead, as they had this in stock there and then and I had done a pointless trip with no warning. He said he would do that for me but I'd have to contribute some more cash. After haggling a little I got the 7 portion grill for £20, plus he let me hang on to the 10% off voucher. Just a heads up for anyone reserving this and expecting to get it. Good luck folks

The best thing about this model is that it's about 1500 watts, it heats up quickly and cooks stuff quickly and properly, the smaller models are less than 1000 watts, you may as well hold your food up to a light bulb and use the heat off that.

Yeah it is a good feeling when it pays off. It certainly helps being polite and courteous to the staff members, as when said and done (90% of the time) it is usually not their fault that something has gone wrong with the order, but they are the ones that take people's frustration when customers show up. The assistant did actually say to me afterwards as I was leaving - thanks for not shouting at them and being understanding. I just said hey no problem, I knew it wasn't your fault and I got a decent outcome in the end.

Assuming the campsites they use have 16A or 10A available so they'd have 2.3kW.

I ordered this last time out and I have to say I haven't touched my oven/hob for the last fortnight, except for cooking a pizza and frying eggs. I have to agree with others that say that a "5 portion" it isn't. I would also disagree with those that say it is a nightmare to clean though. All you have to do to clean it heat it back up and everything quickly wipes off. Be aware that you might not get the all black version. I got the 19920 version which is silver.

I have to ask. I have the smaller 3 piece grill and its is an absolute nightmare to clean. Does this one have removable plates? I love mine but swore I'd never buy one that's so hard to clean again.

I had the model with removable plates and it's honestly not worth the extra, they end up damaged more easily, take longer to heat up, awkward to click back into place. much easier to give them a quick wipe while it's still warm

Yeah I gotta say, it's definitely a handy piece of kit and one that should get used often in most people's homes. Incredibly versatile. I just wish these models came with the removable plates for cleaning as that would be the cherry on top! Unfortunately the model that has that feature is significantly more expensive.

Well done!
I have our 5 portion one home now and have to say it looks great. Perfect size for two toasties at the same time. Unbelievable how happy this has made my 10 year old! He is chuffed to bits. Can be stored vertically in the cupboard plus has a moving hinge to cook thicker rolls/muffins etc.
