It's also same day delivery which is generally a premium service. Lots of places do free delivery, not many even offer same day, let alone for free.

You can get decent JVC 32" TV from Argos for about £129 or spend a little more and get a Samsung / LG :smiley: However stick to a CRT from a charity shop for £5 if you're playing N64 games

Argos offer (even if only for a while) to deliver for free the same day, don't ask you for any annual bung to do this, and get laughed at. Wean yourselves off Amazon people, you might just discover where you've been going wrong all these years.

I've been trying to watch shows and films on my local Argos, but for some reason it just won't happen :/ I've had to resort to using the Amazon prime app on my tv instead

The odds of the delivery actually arriving are lower than ever then, I decided to order stuff for same day collection a wee while back and at 9:55pm got a text to say they attempted to deliver but no answer which was rubbish, they eventually told me the driver ran out of time. Took nearly two weeks for my refund, never again.

Buy the very best, biggest and loudest you can afford. And a PS4.

Not that I'll be participating in Amazon Day either. I'm sick of paying "bargain" prices on these "special" days only to find the item become cheaper a few weeks after. Now I just keep a track of items I want and wait until they go down below the "special" price. Thus far everything I've been interested in has been cheaper within a month or so! "Prime Day" and Black Friday are just marketing gimmicks. I've been sucked in like everyone else, but I'm not falling for it anymore; last year's Black Friday taught me a costly lesson.

Can you order the day before, or will we need to actually place the order on the 12th ?
I cannot imagine how they will fulfil this ! - especially for people who live in more remote areas.

Providing there are slots still available you can order up to 6pm and still have it delivered same day. To have free, same delivery from a high street store is quite rare, especially for such a low minimum spend. Looks like a great deal if there's something you want! Shame it's just for one day.

That's why I was asking about when to order.
I think, because they are offering 'same day' delivery, that you would have to actually order on Tuesday, for delivery on Tuesday.

just ordered a tv stand,a tallboy cabinet for bathroom and a few other bits,got free delivery and getting delivered today.

placed an order at 230 AM on 12 July to be delivered between 7am to 10 am
got woken up by a phone call at 0705 AM - and I wondered who it was
just remembered about the order and indeed it was the delivery !

I ordered another argos deal on here at 5pm on Sunday and got delivered at 7pm. Paid the £3.95 but still thought that was a bargain for same day delivery on a Sunday.

As far as I know if you order and pay it today you can get it delivered within the next week.

The store that fulfills the order for F/T in your area must have the items in stock for them to be available on f/t delivery. It is a stores stockroom and not just a massive warehouse somewhere.
