Just seen this on Ebay, presume it's invite only...but a good deal nonetheless. List up to 4 items with no insertion fees and pay only £2.00 maximum final value fee on each Buy it Now / Auction item.
Valid 4th - 31st July i.e. list your items between those dates, they can end up to 30 days after it.

That would be like swapping a laptop for a piece of slate and a rock.

Guess I'll have to list my forza Xbox ones on eBay rather than "profiteer" off here :disappointed:

What items come under the 'Electronics' banner? I have a few bits of music gear to sell, like a PPM meter and an XLR Loom

I've had my Paypal and eBay account since about 2010 and it's only just started doing this in the last 3 months or so, sold a few things, have 92 feedback and 100% positive, the money has been coming in about a week after the item ahs been delivered but it's still a pain

Yeah, I sort of get ya.
I sold my ipad 3 and got the Surface Pro 3 256mb 8gb off ebay and paid around £750
Originally going into a new job and reading all the specs I thought it would be great as it outshines spec wise on the iPad and was very happy setting up.
Also being able to finally play Football manager in full and not a dumbed down iOS version sounded great.
However (and for my needs) I found that;
I didn't need the Microsoft stuff for work.
Painting with the pen was fun, impressive, but a novelty.
Football manager didn't scale too well and was tiny writing with the resolution.
Any gaming caused the surface fan to kick in loaf and got very hot.
Battery only lasted around 3 hours gaming
The app store was lackluster (though some argue that you run full programmes rather than apps)
When using in tablet mode. Chrome drained power. It felt heavy, hot and just didn't feel right.
I have tried to live it and it is impressive in areas. But now only needing something for media and light gaming. (Have a PS4 for main gaming) feel a much lighter ipad or just sticking with my Galaxy S6 is suffice.
Like I said I so want to love it and when I get back from holiday will really try to watch YouTube clips and try have one final push. But for my needs. I think a Rock and piece of slate suits my needs a lot better.

Usually happens on new paypal accounts, you can't do anything with it while it's held as it's technically not actually in your account until the hold is removed. It's said (from Paypal) the hold should come off seven days from dispatch, assuming no problems with the transaction.
I have had it before, it's annoying but IME Paypal can't/won't remove it so there isn't a lot you can do...

Sold a Macbook yesterday for £415 and paid £2 final valuation fee - bargain, shame Paypal stung me for £16 and then hold your money for anything up to 21 days :-/

Hold your money for up to 21 days? Huh? Can't you withdraw or spend straight away?

Awesome - these regular eBay promotions over the past couple of months have saved me about £400 in fees!

probably a glitch as most eBay promotions are invite but i had no problem at all activating and using this despite getting no invite so well worth a go even if you didn't get the invite.
Only problem is I don't have anything near valuable enough to hit the £2 max FVF anyway but it's 4 more listings anyway so no complaints here...

It was advertised on your 'My eBay' area as a banner, which is why everyone is eligible even though we didn't get email.

Surprised this didn't get hotter to be honest. Then again, the saving is best felt when selling expensive items. Going to shift some camera lenses later this month, so should save £60 or so in fees
