...these are top quality in general...rebranded by east end due to minor dents on tins or hints of rust etc...most of the ones I have had have been indistinguishable from napolina and been in white lined tins....ktc is another brand worth a look...either way they are way better than the juice filled tins of poor tomatoes that are sold as 'value' etc...

Always get the plum. It doesn't take much effort to either squash them between your fingers, or smash them up with a wooden spoon. And the tomatoes are always better quality, 'cause they have to look something like when the come out of the tin. All the half ripe, mis-shapen stuff goes into chopped.

If your looking for a nice sauce for curries, spat bowl and the rest try passata (think that's how you spell it)
Has the tomato skin inside it too. Really good for you and tastes much better.
