Duracell are an excellent example of a company selling crap with a still respected label on it. If you need alkaline batteries there is no better deal that the alkalisk at IKEA. Duracell and energizer batteries have been tested and shown to be very poor value for money.

agree with you here partially, reason is that the others that are better are not found everywhere and others that are crap are found everywhere hence why Duracell is best option.
on another note, if you Google battery tests, I think few people tested various batteries with different types of test and showed their results and no Duracell was not the best so maybe for those after the best should refer to that guide and also one done on value for money I think.
regarding the deal, hell yes it's good for this price! heat added :smiley:

worth noting lots of these are short dated. 2018 on the ultra. the 24 packs are 2025 though.

Good deal and maybe fine for fire alarms and remotes, but rechargeables are usually better value for toys and other heavy usage applications.
