Very specific size from Amazon, £33 which I think is an excellent price......
Not my size or else would have a punt myself on the colour

Brilliant price but half a size too small for me. Gutted!
Edit: I couldn't resist them at this price so ordered...may just have to cut a bit of my toes off!

If they really are too small, rather than getting out the meat cleaver I don't suppose you would be willing to post them to a very grateful person with size 9.5 feet? Would of course cover the cost and any inconvienience to you!

Wow, used to ear the originals (14 hole) in the late 70's early 80's, wish I purchased a few pairs and stashed them away back then as they are asking silly money for them these days. Having said that I actually had a pair that were a little too big (size 10) that I rediscovered in the loft about 5 years ago, didn't think much about it and listed then on eBay and sold them for £75...I thought that was a right result and then a couple of years ago I was searching around bored and saw that those boots (the original 14 hole ones made in Nottingham) are selling for over £200 bloody quid!!!!!!!!!!! Someone got a bargain when they bought mine, never worn, original box etc
Even though you're not buying the 'proper' Doc's as the purists may say these are an absolute bargain at this price.
Bought them more for nostalgia than anything else  ...doubt they will be many available at this price! Thanks for posting!

that is cheap for a pair of doc's.dont think the size matters too much in my opinion,if your a size 9 they'd be a comfy fit,and if your a size 10 i dont think they'd be to much trouble.only problem with doc's for me is that there obviously well built, and built to last,so when you come to maintain them,as in when you need a totaly new heel and sole in one,not only could i see it being hard to find who'd do it,but it would cost an absolute blinkin fortune.finally the colour, mmmmmmm it is an acquired taste, and personally i couldnt wear them, but on saying that,i'm currently on the lookout for a pair of brogues in just a shade darker than the doc's.just goes to show, you can please some people some of the time, but i go to prove you cant please everyone all the time.oh well rant over.
you get a hot -hot from me for the doc's.
happy shopping.

always used to by dr martens
are they still poorly made? I stopped buying them when production moved overseas and they no longer lasted a year on me, always liked them before hand, never really found a shoe that lasts a well since either :disappointed:

This is cheap compared to what 1460's usually go for and a guess a lot on here will buy them at this price.
I wont though.... I'll only buy DM's again if there's a good deal on the Vintage, Made In England ones. The difference in the quality of leather between the foreign made and English made Docs is miles apart.

Brings back memories, had the same colour in the originals and used yellow or red laces. Shame I'm an 11 but great price.

If you really want a pair don't give up, they're still coming in and out of stock. They were back in at about half past four yesterday afternoon; I was too slow and they disappeared - checked again about twenty minutes ago (1.10) and managed to order myself a pair! Just make sure you have 1-Click activated.
Thanks for posting OP!

If it comes down to that or returning them I would be happy to although I'm pretty sure they will fit a good mate of mine if they come up a bit too small on me. He already has a few pairs though so if not interested I'll chuck you a message.

Arrived today and unfortunately for you I think I might get away with keeping them! I haven't tried both on yet though, just quickly tried one to see if the length is ok and so far so good but will put them on, lace them up and do a few laps round the kitchen tonight before making a final decision.
Want to say a big thanks to the OP too....I've had my eye on these exact docs in this exact colour for a good 15 years but never been able to justify the price before!

Ah well good for you if they do end up fitting comfortably! Thanks all the same and let me know if you change your mind and your mate doesn't want them!
