That's the point of it though (if that sounds like I'm being harsh, it's not intended that way) It's a throwback to yesteryear gameplay, that's why most older gamers are having a blast with it. It's an old school arcade shooter, that's it's appeal :smiley:

weird how this has seen so many discounts despite some decent acclaim from fans and critics. Demo and beta was fun enough, but if I've waited this long, I may as well wait until it's £19.99 :stuck_out_tongue:

It just seems to be the trend with Bethesda games over the last few years to be honest.
Skyrim, Dishonored, Wolfenstein (both), Fallout 4 and now Doom. All standard and special editions have dropped in price quicker pound for pound than any other games that I can honestly think of over the years. All games were treated with critical acclaim by the way.
It's an odd one, but there ya go.
